Herbert isn’t a finisher and lacks the killer instinct. He’s a laid back kid from Oregon who has never shown he has that burning desire to win at all costs, and therefore I’m not surprised that he lacks the leadership needed to be a consistent winner. Herbert is constantly described as mellow and laid back, almost a recluse. Talented as any QB, I just don’t see the passion needed to get to the next level.
