This tells me our OL isn’t knocking them back with jarring hits, DL are controlling our OL and in control enough to jump or rise on their toes and make plays on the ball. OL coaches typically say when the DL eyes widen and they raise a hand to knock them with two hands in the chest.

Cover 2 defense is as effective when a team can shut down the running game and most effective when the DL can generate pressure and make the QB feel uncomfortable. This is the formula Sunday against the Steelers. Shut down Harris early, watch for the PA early if they do pass and when we get Pickett in 3rd down and distance make him feel uncomfortable. A top defense can impose their will and make rookie QBs turnover the ball.
