  1. Now things get interesting. Jags can quick strike here and get 7 or 3 and turn it into a 1 possession game. Huge miss. Herbert inability to score TDs might cost him. 1 TD pass might not be enough.
  2. 3/4 arm thrower and long slow release
  3. Game changing flop by Herbert. He has more of my respect.
  4. Chargers have let the crowd back into it.
  5. What bothers me with Herbert is he’s been anointed nearly to the top echelon of Burrow, Allen, Mahomes without winning consistently. The dude is 25-24 as a starter. He will need to actually win his division to get my respect.
  6. Enter the 2nd half -20… 3rd +10. Jaguars still down 10, and giving up FGs on every drive won’t do it. Chargers will win if they don’t turn into the 2016 Falcons.
  7. That should do it given Jaguars inability to hold them out of FG range. It’s like trading 3s for free throws late in a basketball game.
  8. Without Mike Williams 3rd and long is going to one guy. Makes things a bit easier for Jags.
  9. The Chargers offense is not turning the ball over and not going back into a shell.
  10. I trust McDermott will challenge that
  11. Ball was loose and Dougy choked his red flag.
  12. The Chargers were already thinking about another trip to Arrowhead.
  13. 3 and out would be nice right now for Jags.
  14. Two great acquisitions by the GM.
  15. Joey Bosa + Nick Bosa > TJ Watt + JJ Watt
  16. Would be a good weapon. Even a veteran speedster would help this offense.
  17. The Jaguars have some nice pieces but need a burner deep threat. I see no one capable of winning deep. Zay & Kirk were good additions, they could have used AJ Brown or Tyreek Hill.
  18. Lawrence has a chance to turn things around, but he’s playing a lot like Mac Jones.
  19. The no huddle offense was good indoors or outdoors, although our defense usually was gassed in the 2nd half due to our inability to control the clock by running and playing slower on offense. 25 + 27 were outside. (19-20 & 17-52=36-72) 26 + 28 were in domes. (24-37 & 13-30=37-67). We had halftime leads in 25 & 28, 12-10 & 13-6. We typically struggled in the 2nd half. Although if our kicker in 25 was Christie instead of Norwood we likely win. In SB 28 we played slower on offense and controlled the 1st half, went for it on 4th and goal and converted. We had a good shot and Thurman fumbled twice in both half’s, the second being returned for a TD.
  20. The ineligible man downfield on that 2nd down play was huge. Still a team shouldn’t crumble after one bad call. If that’s our Bills there is no excuse to fall apart.
  21. Purdy didn’t look great when the elements were more challenging. Don’t know if he had jitters or small hands, but in the end his stat line is inflated from the huge 2nd half where the weather was sunny and dry.
