The Bills would have stuck in the game. At times the Chiefs looked disinterested on offense and Mahomes had zero time. Not saying the Bills would have solved the Fangio defense but it’s conceivable it wouldn’t have been 0-34. Pretty much any team could have done better than 0-34. Mahomes played his worst game of his career and got exposed as a Reid inspired QB. Once it was clear the Eagles owned the LOS Mahomes fell back into his Texas Tech script and failed to play the script Reid was calling. The ball which was out in 1.7 seconds vs the Bills soft zone defense was held as the Eagles defense tore through the KC OL. It was a 4 only 5 exhibition. Mahomes crumbled and at one point was 2 picks to 0 TDs and 50% passing. Such a poor game I wonder if Mahomes was concussed.

Allen had a great season with no consistent deep threat. Forced to throw to many WRs who lack ability separate he played highly intelligent and efficient football.

Allen’s 2021 playoff run was insane. 9 TD passes in 2 games, 0 picks? Everything before and after seems like a struggle. That was effortless.

It’s a WR driven league. Allen needs a guy who can get open in 1.5-2.0 seconds.

This requires time on task, reps, separation ability, and QB accuracy. I can only say what I see on the TV which isn’t much.

Coaching aside the roster is void of game breakers talent. We have a GM who misses in the draft and overspent on veterans like Miller and Samuel. McDermott needs a HOF caliber Edge, DT and CB. We could have had McDuffie but got beat by KC. Need talent to bear the best. Allen is great but we need more like him.

I’m kind more fed up with the GM at this point. He’s made some perplexing moves and seems to be off page with McD. Highlights being Boogie Basham over Creed Humphrey, and letting KC jump him for McDuffie while trading up for Elam in a panic. Also the Kincaid trade up seemed panicked whole LaPorta has turned out to be the top dog in that draft. Justin Shorter at pick 150 over Pula Nacua at pick 173 also seems horrible. Beane has had some bad drafts.

Allen has no idea if Shakir could gain that and would have to throw it blind as he had no time to check to Shakir and get ball to a diff target if he was covered. Kincaid was open and he has to catch balls that hit his hands.

Kincaid has 4.7 speed. Luckily the TE seems shots were taken over by Mack Hollins who actually catches a majority of his targets and doesn’t fall down at the line allowing officials to rig the spot.
