OT: The Yankees/Red Sox thread
kasper13 replied to BF_in_Indiana's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
#2,000 is a sweet one. The Yankees Win. The Yankees Win. Schilling got rocked and the Yanks hold on for the 10-7 win. It won't be easy but I think the Yanks can take the series. Everybody was so far up Schilling's behind and everybody said Game One was the key for the Red Sox and everybody had it down in pen that it was going to be 1-0 Boston. WRONG. Only 6 more games of this to go. It can't be good to smoke 50 cigarettes per game. -
What If we lose to Miami? Its 50-50

Bills lose and they are 0-5. Nothing more. Nothing less. -
(OT)From this Yankee fan to all you Sox fans.....
kasper13 replied to The Poojer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I actually wish the Red Sox bad luck. I hate the Red Sox and their pathetic "Red Sox Nation". What a bunch of sorry losers. I don't want a good series. I want the Yankees to just destroy Boston in 4 quick blowouts and shut those loudmouth hippies up once and for all. 1918. 85 years and counting. GO YANKEES! Then the Cardinals can get stomped by NY and shut that idiot from Indiana up as well. -
BOSTON KILLS ME, TEARS DOWN A PIECE OF HISTORY
kasper13 replied to NavyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is no curse. The Red Sox have just sucked for 86 years. They still suck and the Yankees are going to kick their sorry asses again. -
The refs were as bad as Green Bay's defense. If there weren't all those penalties on Tennessee and non-calls in GB's favor, the Titans would have easily scored 70+ points instead of just 48. That huge Lambeau Field advantage is long gone for the Packers.

Ralph will fire Donahoe before end of season
kasper13 replied to seq004's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
TD only has a year left on his contract. At one time, Ralph was paying Kay Stephenson, Hank Bullough AND Marv Levy at the same time. I expect TD to at least lose the GM title from his job description if the Bills lose Sunday. Mike Mularkey's response to Ralph Wilson was "he was frustrated and didn't have the opportunity to sit back and watch the tape of the game" I can't believe a rookie head coach only four games into his career would say anything about the owner. That's just insane and besides, WHAT THE HELL IS DIFFERENT ON THE GD TAPE OF THE GAME? If Ralph were 20 years younger, TD, Mularkey and Tom Clements would all be unemployed today. -

MLB removes shirt because sox fans complain
kasper13 replied to millbank's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yankees do not need slogans, T-Shirts, long hair or profane chants from their fans to go out and win games. However, if they ban those T-Shirts, why don't they ban "Yankees Suck" (and worse) T-Shirts in Boston? Those are worse than "Whose your Daddy?" t-shirts and Pedro was the moron who said that to begin with. To top it off, MLB is a commie organization. That is 100% against free speech and free enterprise. -
Maybe we can get Javon Walker for Josh Reed while we are at it. Maybe we can get GB to throw in their #1 pick next year as well. Maybe we can get the rights to Vince Lombardi when he is unfrozen for a 7th round pick to top off the deal.

Actually, if you read the USA Today or the NY or Boston papers today, Terry Francona already said Schilling is not pitching three games in the ALCS. Red Sox are going with a 4 man rotation- Schilling, Pedro, Arroyo and Wakefield. Schilling has tendinitis in his right ankle and he is going to pitch tommorrow with the ankle heavily taped and shot up with some heavy painkiller called Marcaine. Red Sox said they will use every treatment they can to get Schilling through his start tommorrrow and Game 5 and that this injury is not related to the deep bone bruise on the same ankle Schilling suffered earlier in the season. My pick was Yankees in 7. With Schilling hurting, I'll take NY in 5. Everybody knows Pedro can't beat the Yankees. So, the only hope Boston has is Wakefield and we all know how he fared with his last pitch in the ALCS against NY last year.
-
The reality is that he is the starter because we have nobody else. What can they do? I do think he is good enough to be a starter in the future and the experience of starting now will only help that along.

Bills are the best 0-4 team in the NFL. Miami is definitley a worse team then the Bills and there are a few 1-3 and 1-4 teams that are worse. 4 losses by a total of 22 points is the best 0-4 start in Bills history. How's that for twisted logic?
-
Bills D couldn't make a play when they had to. Same old crap. No big INT, Sack or stop on 3rd down. Offense wakes up and scores two TD's in 3 minutes and then the D gives up 50 yards and over 5 minutes on the last drive. Pennington was 6 of 6 at one point to start the last drive. Where are the supposed "playmakers" on defense? Someone should have punched Chrebet in the throat. Seems like every time the Jets had a 3rd down, he caught a pass for the 1st just beyond the marker. This is the exact same Bills team as last year.
-
I read that as Travis Henry is benched or gone and Willis McGahee is the starter. That's the first spark Ralph is talking about. The second spark is Lee Evans is starting opposite Moulds and is getting more than one pass thrown to him. Josh Reed is benched or gone. Bledsoe looked good when he had time and could make some throws.

Why oh why did Drew take that sack.
kasper13 replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Right. That's why they lost. Drew actually played well yesterday in the 4th quarter. Blame the (here we go again) play calling for the first 51 minutes or blame the defense for not making a play when they had to. On almost all of the Jets sacks, the defender was untouched. There are 45 players out there, not just Bledsoe. -
First off, Ralph's wife will inherit the Bills when he dies and they are not moving anywhere. Second off, apparently nobody heard Ralph's comments on SportsExtra tonight. It's still his team and he has spoken. He is SICK of the so-called "Smashmouth" football the Bills have been trying to play. He wants the offense to open up and thought that would have happened against the Jets. He was PO'd at the game plan. He said he talks to all the coaches including Mularkey every week at was not happy with the result today. He said "We're 0-3, if Bledsoe throws it downfield and it's intercepted and returned for a TD, we're 0-4. So what?, open it up" When Ralph starts speaking to the media and says he is unhappy, someone is gone. It's been his team for 45 years and it still is now. He calls the shots. Make no mistake about that. Someone is going either to the bench, a new team or the unemployment line.
-
Sure. Henry pounds it in there for 2 yards a carry. Willis got 42 yards on all of 8 carries. Mr. Wilson is very unhappy. He said that he is sick of "smashmouth" football and wants the offense to open it up. When Ralph starts talking, someone is gone. I think Henry will be benched and then traded and very soon.

(OT) Petition for Empire coverage
kasper13 replied to KeyserSoze81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good idea but unless someone buys and keeps Empire, it's gone. The only thing that will keep Empire on the air is money. Adelphia is selling everything and will fold up shop as soon as everything is sold and that includes Empire. -
Did any of you season ticket holders....

Weird feeling the Bills are going to win this week
kasper13 replied to DPR4444's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I read the NY Post everyday and all the NY Media is talking about is a matchup against New England in Week 7 when both teams will be 5-0. Herm Edwards is trying to caution his team not to look past Buffalo. I think the Bills will win this week because the Jets think Sunday will be an easy win. -
You should know to wait until the last out. Yankees win 7-6. By the way, when't the last frickin time the Cards won the Series? 1982? Where you even around then? Maybe your team should actually win something first before you talk trash.

I feel bad for season ticket holders.
kasper13 replied to San-O's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I haven't given one single ticket away since the last time I missed a home game. December 1985 against the NY Jets. Good or Bad-I still go to every game. -
Is Mularkey's honeymoon over?
kasper13 replied to BillnutinHouston's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After 3 Games? I don't think so. Even GW got two years before everyone wanted to run his ass out of town. -
That's funny. They were also flipped off as they were coming into the stadium by me. They got the bird coming and going. Next time it's rocks and batteries.
