What are we really giving up if JP starts?
kasper13 replied to JoeF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly how many games has Bledsoe won in the playoffs with the Bills in the last three seasons? How many playoff games have the Bills played in with Bledose as QB in the last three seasons? NONE AND NONE. End of story. -
SB XXV Playing on NFL network right now
kasper13 replied to HurlyBurly51's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tonight was the debut of the NFL Network on Adelphia and that was the first thing I saw on it. I had to turn it right off. To this day, I have never watched any replays of the game or any highlights of the game except seeing Norwood miss and I still have to turn away when they show that. I still have the tape of the game and it's never been watched or rewound since that night right after the missed FG. It's exactly at the spot where I stopped the tape at the end of the game. The only thing I did was take it out the VCR and put it away in a closet. It stays that way until the Bills win a Super Bowl and then I will rewind it and watch it. Anyone think the NFL Network knew that it was their debut night on Buffalo cable or was it just a coincidence that they showed the SB XXV highlights? -
Arena Football Doubleheader starting at noon on NBC. If not, watch an old Bills game that you illegally taped.

My tickets went DOWN $50. Saves me $100. Sweet deal. Plus the new "Rockpile" seats will now be all Bills fans instead of visting team fans which I think was the whole point to begin with.
-
That's 8 sections, a total of 2,400 seats in the 200 level on the scoreboard side end zone. Losing to the Steelers, while not a good thing, has had three benefits so far. Most of the Steelers fans at the game were sitting in the scoreboard side end zone, especially in the 200 level. Lowering season tickets to $250 should fill those seats up with all Bills fans next year. It also cost Drew Bledsoe his job. Benefit Three??? My season tickets are in one of those 200 level sections so I just saved $100.

That is the absolute worst POS movie that I have ever had the misfortune to sit through. Besides that, Gallo is a major a-hole.

Just totally impossible. Just about everyone has been drunk at one time or another so think about the time you were the most hammered you have ever been. You were probably somewhere at 0.2 to 0.35. Legal limit to drive in NY State is now 0.08. It used to be 0.1. At 0.2 most people are wrecked to the point where they can't walk very well. At 0.6 even the biggest of the all-time big drunks would pass out. I would think anything over a 0.8 would absolutley kill someone, even someone who is a major league alcoholic and goes 6 foot 6, 450 lbs. To get to a .91 is just impossible. Nobody alive (or dead) was ever built to tolerate that much booze. Found this handy, dandy chart on the net. 0.03 BAC - Slowed reaction time, 0.04 BAC - Federal prohibited limit for commercial drivers license, 0.05 BAC - Increased risk taking and American Medical Association recommended prohibited limit, 0.08 BAC - Recommended prohibited limit for criminal charges and impaired vision, 0.10 BAC - Poor large muscle control, loss of balance and prohibited limit in most states, 0.17 BAC - National average blood alcohol level of drivers in a fatal crash, 0.19 BAC - National average for first time DUI offender and of persons who have killed police officers, 0.20 BAC - Loss of emotional control, 0.22 BAC - National average for replete DUI offenders at time of arrest, 0.30 BAC - Loss of orientation as to time and place, 0.35 BAC - Blackouts and stupor, 0.50 BAC - Published overdose level leading to death, 0.74 BAC - Highest recorded blood alcohol level by a US hospital.

Interesting comment by Brady on Bledsoe

Brady's quote was actually "Bledsoe sucks as a QB but he looks good in the shower". -
Tues. Buff News - Bills Ready To Go With Losman
kasper13 replied to Mark VI's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's time for a new era. How can anyone not get excited about a trio of Losman-McGahee-Evans? They will be drawing comparisons to the Colts trio of Manning-Harrison-James. Only differences are that the Bills can play in rough weather and also have a defense. Trading Bledsoe & Henry will bring a couple of draft picks and free up more cap space. Somehow TD will get back in the first round and grab an OL. I do not care who the backup QB is as long as it is not Bledsoe. If the backup has to play, put in two TE's and a FB and hand the ball to Willis 50 times. The Pittsburgh game cost Bledsoe his job in Buffalo. -
Somebody please tell Brenda Warner to stop posting on here looking for a job for her husband. He is a grocery bagger. Nothing more. Nothing less.

We'd like to thank the Pittsburg Steelers
kasper13 replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pittsburgh was the worst 15-1 team in history. I have never seen a supposedly great team look that bad at home in any game, let alone a Championship game. Ridiculous. -
I'm pretty sick of this crap. Let's go Eagles.

Too young to ever see a Bills game there as they moved when I was one. I did see 100's of Bisons games there from 1979-1987. Great old stadium. Even though it was a dump, there was something special about it. It had character and history if nothing else. It was also easy to get free baseballs & tons of autographs. I still miss it to this day.

Anyone else rooting for Atlanta to win the SB?
kasper13 replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually, it turns out that I am. I want a Pittsburgh-Atlanta SB and Atlanta to win it. I am a Steelers fan for today only. I want to see Philly lose 4 straight Championship games just so there will be a weeks worth of endless comparisons to the Bills teams of the early 90's. -
A measly, miniscule 7 inches in Lancaster, NY.

henry generating a lot of talk around the nfl

Henry & #3 Round Pick for somebody's #1 Round Pick. Guaranteed. If the Bills just go and cut Henry they take a cap hit. They trade him, no cap hit. That should be obvious. -
Call me when you get 7 feet of snow in 5 days. I'll come help you shovel. 18 inches in Buffalo is nothing. Supposed to get 10 inches tommorrow and nobody even as much shined their snow shovel. Good Luck and be safe.

To me it comes down to the players being STUPID. The league said "Play for $2 million a season instead of $4 million or don't play at all". Players chose to not play at all. Their loss. Start the league over again next fall and use AHL, ECHL & replacement players. Cut ticket prices down to $10 bucks each. The difference won't be all that noticeable and most of the NHL players will end up coming in and playing anyways. It's not like these guys are going to go work at Tim Horton's or on the family farm in Canada. What else are they going to do? Stupid. Stupid people.

kasper13 replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lots of interest drives up the price. I'd trade Henry to Tampa Bay along with a 3rd round pick for their 1st round, 5th overall pick. You know TD is getting back into the 1st round. -
