  1. More realistically it should look like this....... Buffalo Bills 2 AFL Championships (1964, 1965) 4-1 AFC Championship Games 0-4 Super Bowls (lost 4 straight 1990-1993) Philadelphia Eagles 3 NFL Championships (1948, 1949, 1960) 2-3 NFC Championship Games (lost three straight 2001-2003) 0-2 Super Bowls Draw your own conclusions.
  2. I've been a Bills fan since I knew what football was. The first Bills game I actually remember was a Bills-SD game in 1976 and I remember listening on the radio because it was a home game and it did not sell out. I was 5. My first game in person was the Bills-Miami opener in 1977. I used to get picked on in school in 84-85 because I was a Bills fan. Imagine that, living in Buffalo and getting picked on for being a Bills fan! I knew better than the rest of those bastages. Kids in my neighborhood were all bandwagon jumpers. There were two kids three houses down from me and one was a Cowboys fan and the other was a Bears fan. Two houses down from them lived a Broncos fan. Another kid was a Dolphins fan and yet another was a Raiders fan. One kid was a huge CFL fan of all things. The kid next door liked Little House on the Prairie. He turned out to be gay. Anyways, as soon as 1988 hit and the Bills started winning, they all became Bills fans except for the gay kid. I have an extreme dislike for bandwagon jumping "fans". Anyways, I heard the gay kid lives in Vermont with his husband and the Cowboys fan is in prison for murder. Quite a strange neighborhood I grew up in.
  3. Top 3 in the AL East- Yankees are much better as far as the starters and bullpen go. The offense will not have to be as good as last year but they will be anyways. Bullpen adds Felix Rodriguez, Mike Stanton and a healthy Steve Karsay while subtracting Felix Heredia. Johnson, Pavano & Wright should pitch deeper into games than El Duque, Lieber & Contreras did which will rest the bullpen a little bit. Red Sox are not as good as last year as far as starting pitching goes. Matt Clement and David Wells replace Pedro and Derek Lowe. Wells could have his back go out at any time and Clement hands out walks like candy at Halloween. Renteria replaces Cabrera at short. Baltimore should be improved at the plate but are still weak in pitching. AL Central I think it's going to be a two team race. Cleveland & Detroit. Tribe has a good, young team and added a couple of veterans. Detroit has done the same. Before Spring Training even starts, I think the Yankees are the favorite in the AL East, Cleveland will win the Central and the Angels will win the West with Seattle improving and the Rangers & A's falling off. Boston & Baltimore will fight for the wild card spot. In the NL, my top 2 in each division. Mets & Phillies in the East. Cardinals & Reds in the Central and San Francisco & San Diego in the West. Darkhorse: Pittsburgh. Also look for the Marlins to be in the hunt for a Wildcard spot. Falling off: Dodgers, & Astros. Slightly improved: Arizona. Best young team: Colorado. World Series Champs: YANKEES
  4. I HATE the Patriots. I loved watching the afternoon shows on ESPN today with everyone saying they are the worst of the so-called dynasties and they aren't that great of a team just the best in an era of mediocrity. I hate the Patriots more than I even hate the Dolphins and just as much as I hate the Red Sox.
  5. McNabb will be labeled as a good QB, not a great QB. Everyone will say that he can't win the big game. 3 Championship game losses and a Super Bowl loss in 4 years justifies that tag. He threw quite a few bad passes yesterday and obviously has no idea how to run a hurry-up offense.
  6. The whole Super Bowl experience this year was one big giant snooze fest. The game, the commercials & the half time show were all boring garbage. I think they hype everything way too much for two weeks and then it's just a big letdown. The whole thing was cleaned up to a G rating except for one commercial and there is no controversy to discuss at all. Pats winning again didn't help matters. They are a boring, efficient machine with zero personality just like the entire Super Bowl production. Enough is enough. I will enjoy watching the Patriots downfall into oblivion starting right now.
  7. That's more than enough. I don't want to see the Patriots win another damn thing for the next 50 years.
  8. Only one erectile dysfunction commercial and that wasn't on until after 9pm. They also only showed the cheerleaders from each team one time and that was right after the Cialis commercial. Coincidence? Game sucked. Commercials sucked. Halftime show sucked. In all, a giant waste of a Super Bowl Sunday.
  9. No idea where you got 150 was the maxium. Number shot back at me was 156. This is what it described me as: "The way you think about things makes you a Linguistic Architect. This means you are brilliant when it comes to language and words. You are also very good at understanding things on an abstract level. You are at your best when you put those two skills together to communicate new ideas and see how they fit into different contexts. You understand math and science on a gut level, even if the equations and science don't come as easily. You can use these skills to be a great communicator or to create a masterpiece. How did we determine that your thinking style is that of a Linguistic Architect? When we examined your test results further, we analyzed how you scored on 8 dimensions of intelligence: spatial, organizational, abstract reasoning, logical, mechanical, verbal, visual and numerical. The 3 dimensions you scored highest on combine to make you a Linguistic Architect. Only 6 out of 1,000 people have this rare combination of abilities." Big whoop. Now if I wanted to pay $19.95, I could get a more detailed report. I would guess they do not tell idiots that they are idiots in hopes of them spending the $19.95. Everyone is brilliant until they spend the cash. My masterpiece is a offense designed to score 70 points a game even with an old, slow QB in charge. It's taken three years so far and may take another year or so.
  10. Bledsoe gives the Bills the best chance to once again have a mediocre offense and come up just short of the playoffs for the 3rd straight year. Anyone who thinks Bledsoe can take the Bills to the playoffs are the ones in deep, deep, deep denial. I would rather the Bills go 0-16 with Losman and build for the future now than suffer through another Bledsoe disaster and rebuild next year. However, the Steelers game cost Bledsoe his job in Buffalo and Losman will be better than anybody thinks and the Bills will make the playoffs in 05' as long as Bledsoe is gone.
  11. Wings, Wings, Wings, Beer, Pizza, Beer, Wings and some Wings.
  12. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. I really hope Dallas trades for Bledsoe. If the Bills get a 7th round pick for him and erase the cap money I would do it in less than a second.
  13. 156. That's low compared to other IQ tests I have taken.
  14. If the Bills ever left Buffalo, I would never watch another NFL game again. Bills aren't going anywhere anytime soon but if something insane ever did happen and they did leave they wouldn't go to Canada. Everythig I read and heard from yesterday, Tagliabue never mentioned the Bills and he said the NFL would not put a team anywhere in Canada. How do these rumors get started?
  15. The article about this in the Buffalo News this morning mentioned a regular season NFL game in Mexico and preseason games in China. (Kids under 10 in China who manufacture NFL merchandise would get a discounted ticket to a game). It also said Tagliabue promised a team in LA by 2008 or 2009. There was absolutley nothing at all about a Bills game in Toronto.
  16. Skydome is now the Rogers Center. Sorry. The Rogers Centre. Why can't they spell in Canada? Major renovations are being planned by the Blue Jays. The Argos are moving to a renovated Varsity Stadium that is located somewhere in Toronto.
  17. Who ranks first in murders? Has to be the Juice.
  18. NO WAY IN HELL DOES TORONTO EVER GET A BUFFALO BILLS HOME GAME. Does the Commish have any clue whatsoever how Bills Home Games are almost sacred? We get 8 regular season games a year and people spend the other 44 weeks looking forward to those 8 home game weeks. Tagliabue and Toronto can both get bent. Why would RW give up that kind of revenue anyways? The Skydome holds 54,000. RWS holds 74,000. I would absolutley go nuts if the Bills gave up a home game to Toronto. I pay for 8 home games. I want 8 home games. Toronto would not be a home game. Sad. Just frickin sad. I would boycottt that MF'in game like crazy. Maybe Tagliabue should lay off the 8 balls and ask the Bills & Bills fans what they think of his brilliant idea. What an a-hole.
  19. The dumb ass players lose big time and they deserve it. Owners said play for $1-$3 million or don't play at all. Players chose to not play at all and now they are all screwed. Players had zero leverage to begin with and in sticking to a no cap stance they just f-ed themselves. The NHL wants to break the players union and will do just that. What happens next is this: If there is no agreement and the entire season is canceled, the NHL can declare an impasse and show they offered numerous proposals that were all rejected and the players union refused to negotiate. Then the NHL can draw up their own CBA with a hard salary cap and any other rules that they want and that becomes the agreement without any vote necessary from the players. Next September, the owners will declare an end the lockout and open training camps. Anyone who wants to tryout for an NHL team can show up and the season will start in October. Union broken, salary cap implemented and "cost certainty" is achieved. NHL 1 NHLPA 0.
  20. Party at a friend's house here in Buffalo. Drank half a bottle of Southern Comfort during the 2nd half and then went in the hot tub. Threw up in said hot tub and then passed out. Fond Super Bowl Memories!
  21. Pochman and the 5 other players the Bills signed are all going to be playing in NFL Europe. "The Bills have signed linebacker Kellen Brantley, tight end/long snapper Mike Gomez, defensive back Jonathon Palafox, kicker Owen Pochman, quarterback Kevin Thompson, and wide receiver LaDaris Vann. All six players have been allocated to participate in NFL Europe. The results of the league's allocation draft will be announced on February 14 and NFL Europe training camps start on March 2"
  22. A kid is more likely to get molested at church, a Boys & Girls Club, by a relative or by Michael Jackson than if they live in a neighborhood with a strip club or an adult video store. Everyone of these lunatic fringe pro-censorship groups just says "we are protecting the kids" to justify their actions. They get away with it because people just don't want to get involved or go up against these nut jobs that are hiding behind "protecting" kids to push their views against the constitution and their censorship on the rest of us. We should be protecting kids from these people. It's a sick, sick world we live in.
  23. "Can't get enough of that Wonderful Duff....." Personally, I prefer Fudd. Actually, there is a whole line of Duff Beer merchandise available- playing cards, posters, key chains, bowling shirts, t-shirts, bumper stickers, coasters, ect. all officially licensed Simpsons merchandise. Duff Beer was actually brewed in Australia in 1998. Simpson's creator Matt Groenig took legal action and won. Production was halted and very few cases/cans exist today. See the real can of Duff here http://beer.trash.net/beerpage.php?beernum=241 The woman sold the beer without actually having it and will spend 8 months in the joint. Have fun.
  24. I guess I was not alone in thinking "Cheerleader Cams".
  25. Did they ban the Viagra, Cialis & Levitra Ad's? That's plain and simple Censorship. That really ticks me off. I refuse to watch any Super Bowl commercials or buy any products that are being advertised. I know it means nothing but that's my right as an American.
