As long as Larry Quinn and company keep giving Buffalo Sabres fans what they think we want instead of what we actually want, it will be the same old crap over and over. Why in the name of all that is holy and sacred not just give the fans what they want? Why is that so flipping hard? The OLD Logo just as it was and the old colors. Maybe tweak the colors, update the shoulder patches at most. How hard is that? Instead we get a legless Buffalo on a clown outfit. Sad. Just sad.

Mesi was supposed to fight some bum named Donald Frank but he had visa problems and coludn't get into Canada. They found Tessier in a bar in Montreal on Thursday Night and he agreed to fight Baby Joe for a case of Molson Export and a giant box of TimBits. I hope Mesi realizes he would get seriously hurt or killed if he ever fights someone halfway decent.

In New York State, anything over a .20 on the breathalyzer and/or the 2nd (or more) time you are busted for driving drunk, it's an automatic felony and the right to a trial by jury. However, most times if there was no accident/injuries and it's the first time someone is busted it is reduced to just a regular DWI or a DUI even.

Until one of two things happen: Multiple cop cars show up. Alcohol is all gone and nobody is sober enough to go get more. Had 6 cop cars show up once for only two of us finishing off a keg in the backyard at 5am. I suppose throwing empty glasses off the neighbors fence wasn't such a good idea.

I had nightmares last night of the third period. Specifically, that puck just sitting there for seemingly 30 seconds while Rory Fitzpatrick went blind & stupid at the same time. It looked like it was in slow motion as it actually happened and was even slower in the nightmare.

Tonight's game will be one of the most watched games in Buffalo Sports History. It will be right up there with those big FB games played at the end of the season that the local football squadron played in during the early 90's. If you live in WNY and aren't watching the game on TV or listening to it on the radio tonight, just what the hell ARE you doing? The ratings don't take into account all the people watching in bars or at gatherings in people's houses. This one is huge.

Lindy Ruff never said word one about Jay McKee. Not on WGR all AM, not on any of the 12pm newscasts. All that was said is that McKee is expected to be in Carolina sometime today. Nobody has a clue what his ilness/injury is and if he will or will not play tonight. In my opinion, unless McKee is dead, I expect him to play.

Theismann is a disgrace to broadcasting. CFL has no set drug policy. In the CFL, guys can play on weed, crack, steroids- whatever. It will be entertaining to see how RW screws the Argos. Theismann should have kept his big mouth shut for once.

I've been watching hockey for over 30 years and the only one that I ever heard use the term "half-wall" is Mike Emerick. Others have copied him and it's become a more popular term. I can't recall RJ ever using that term. Wouldn't any wall, even boards in hockey, be a full wall? It's not like any of it is missing.

NHL ratings get less than a 1 in the USA. Playoff ratings get the same. I don't see why the NHL would care who is in the Finals. The ratings in the local TV markets in Buffalo, Carolina, San Jose, Anaheim, Edmonton would be insane. Other hockey cities will get decent ratings. Nobody else cares. Anyways, I thought the refs were paid by the CBC, not NBC.

In Buffalo/WNY, OLN is Channel 140 on Adelphia. Have to have Digital Cable w/ Silver or Gold Package to get that. CBC is Channel 17 on Adelphia. If you do not have cable, join everyone else in 2006. Seriously though, if you do not have Cable, you can get CBC in WNY with rabbit ears or even a homemade tin foil antenna on Channel 5. At least you could in 1975. I remember my grandfather did that once and then he got cable. It is raining though so it may not come in all that well.

In Lancaster, CBC is Channel 17.

I think it's pretty funny but also very unfair to label Ko Simpson as KOJ. He has nothing to do with OJ Simpson except their names are similar and both are associated with the Bills.

Miami is a very quiet city. It's relativley safe and pretty much crime free. I see no reason why Marcus Vick can't stay out of trouble in Miami.

Who do they have going first? Quinn should be the #1 overall next year, especially after ND wins the National Championship this season. I'd love to see the Bills get him. I think the Bills want to win now but are in a rebuilding mode and I don't expect much out of them. # 1 overall in 07' is something to shoot for.
