Fat Charlie would be a great choice for head coach. Just have to limit his wing intake to 100 per week. Not his fault Notre Dame has academic standards and can't get the best players like other schools. He should have stayed in the NFL but ND was his dream job. Everyone is on their knees for Shannahan. He wants total control. Why did he get run out of Denver? Elway and Terrell Davis retired and Shannahan made loads of bad personnel decisons. I'd take Weis as HC and bring in a "football guy" GM. I think even Ralph now knows he can't go cheap, he can't go with an unknown and he can't go with a young college guy. Everyone is saying Ralph needs to go big or go home. My first choice would be Bill Cowher but I have a feeling Charlie Weis is going to get thrown out of South Bend in two weeks and that could be part of the reason why Ralph ash canned Jauron today. As soon as Weis is free, Fewell is the interim to satisfy the Rooney Rule, we all get an early Christmas gift and CW is the new guy. I know the bitching will be endless but Charlie is an offensive guy, has head coaching experience and was with New England. A good fit here if you ask me. Tony Dungy may be considered and we all know where he goes, Vick will follow. Billick may also be in the conversation. My feeling is that it will be Weis and it will happen before Christmas. I would be satisfied with that choice.

There were a few stories in the Buffalo News recently about guys who have gone to hundreds of consecutive games. Well, Bills Season Tickets have been in my family since before I was born. My dad bought me a season ticket when Rich Stadium opened in 1973. I was ONE. He wanted me to have it when I was old enough to go. I started going to games in 1977. I would cry if I didn't get to go to a game for whatever reason. I have only missed a handful of games since 1979. Until this year. The Cleveland game finally killed it for me. I sold the rest of the games for this season after that game. I lost money on it. I don't care. If they don't clean house, I am finished forever. I could care less about tailgating. I saved about $75 yesterday and fired up the grill at home and really didn't care about how awful they played. I really feel bad for the guy that bought my tickets to yesterday's game. I am so disgusted with what is going on, if the threat is buy tickets or they leave, then goodbye. People gotta be sick of wasting their hard earned money on total garbage and then justify it by saying "I like the tailgating". To me, that is just sad. People who say that probably weren't around in the 1988-1996 time period of this franchise. Great tailgating back then too but the actual games were the point and they were awesome games. If people are buying tickets out of fear of the team leaving, stop it. Let them leave. You will get over it. Buy Sabres tickets, buy a new big screen TV, buy your kids some new clothes, go on a vacation, whatever. You will feel better in the long run. Thanks Ralph.

I want a new front office with a real football GM, a new head coach that has experience and has actually won somewhere whatever the cost, a new scouting department, a new draft department, a new QB with the 1st pick, size at LB and depth all over the place. Some toughness, enthusiasm and life from everyone. No more gimmicks (TO, No-Huddle), Finally, a solid, serious plan and a genuine effort to build a winning team. I'll watch, say on offense, a couple years of Bradford at QB, Jackson at RB with Wood, Levitre, Bell on the O-Line, Hardy & Johnson at WR, Nelson at TE. Whatever. Let them develop together. Add a quality veteran here and there, draft well at need positions and let's go. We know they will take a beating for awhile but at least we will know what we have and that we are going up instead of sideways and this year way, way down. Give me at least 75% of that and I'll come back next year no questions asked. If Dick Jauron is still here, I will not go ever again. If they have no plan or direction, I'll sit out a year.

It actually felt good that I saved $75 or so that I would have spent in addition to the tickets. 4 more home games is $300 in my pocket and not renewing my tickets next year saves even more. They can't run the freakin offense they have now and they have been working on that since APRIL. What they should do to prevent Edwards from getting seriously hurt or killed is to ditch the no-huddle garbage and run the goalline offense all day Sunday. Two TE's and a FB and run it 60 times. No way they even come close to winning Sunday regardless of what they do.

I actually think Florida, LSU, Alabama, Texas, USC and a bunch of other teams would have a shot at beating the Bills, Raiders, Rams, Bucs or Chiefs right now. Heck, South Harmon Institute of Technology would give the Bills a game right now.

Another NFL paycheck when you aren't getting one should be more than enough motivation for anyone. Even coming to this disgrace of a team.
