  1. Just the experience of going to Lambeau is well worth it. GB could field an old-timers team and beat us but it will still be an amazing experience. Enjoy it whatever the result of the game is.
  2. Anyone who counted a Bills win at KC this year, think again. Their return game is ridiculous. Defense looks better. They have alot of good, young players. So, who are the Bills going to beat exactly? 0-16 is possible.
  3. You pay for a seat. Sit the hell down. Stand up and cheer when warranted but people who stand for no reason for long periods of time annoys me to no end. Had seats in the 2nd row of the Upper Deck and drunken idiots in the first row would stand for no reason other than they were wrecked. Sit down before you fall down! One more than one occasion it almost led to fisticuffs. I solved all three of the major concerns after last season for myself. I bought a new big screen TV. I bought a new grill. I bought a new Bills flag for my flagpole. I can tailgate in my backyard for as long as I want before and after the game. I can sit, stand or lay on the floor wherever I want. No lines for the bathroom. I don't have to pay $25 to park in my driveway. I can fly my Bills flag at will. The only drunks are my friends and that is OK with me. They are killing the gameday experience. Not to mention the team is dreadful. I will still watch them every week. I just don't feel like I am wasting time, money and aggravation anymore. 32 years with season tickets too. Sad.
  4. Just about the dumbest thing I have ever heard on here and that is saying alot. If Buffalo gets more than a FG against Baltimore, I'd be shocked. If Edwards survives the game, I'd be more shocked. Baltimore's defense is one of the best in the league. Jets D is right there too. May as well compare...something...I don't know. Just idiotic.
  5. I actually think they will get worse. Road game next week. 13 point underdog. They are going to play better teams than Miami. If that was the effort and execution we got in the home opener against a beatable team, I don't really want to see what happens against better competition. Don't discount injuries. Only a couple yesterday. Anymore and it will get really ugly. I think we will easily see 0-4. Jacksonville looks halfway decent too. Maybe it will snow that day. Looking for more than a couple wins is not an easy thing this year.
  6. Blah, Blah, Blah. 15-20 years ago, your friends would have gotten their asses kicked and not just by drunk Bills fans but the security and cops too.
  7. Horrible call. Even more ridiculous rule. In college, soon as a knee or elbow hits the ground, play is over. So, if it were a college game, he had control of the ball and both feet down, then he falls and hits the ground before he rolls over- that would have been play over right there. Touchdown. In the NFL, all that happens and then he rolls over and puts the ball on the ground as he is getting up so it's incomplete. ASSININE.
  8. I really don't think SD would trade McNeil for Lynch. In fact, I don't think SD would trade with the Bills at all for any reason. Far as I know, AJ Smith hates Ralph Wilson. I think Kansas City is going to be a way better team this year. I really don't see the Bills winning a game at all. Maybe Chicago or Detroit and an accidental win somewhere else is possible, I guess. 3 wins is the ceiling for this team as long as Edwards is the QB.
  9. That's a loss I would not blame on the refs. When are people going to stop making excuses? The Bills are just awful. Deal with it. Want to blame the refs? Call Detroit. Tell them BS. Then hang up. Anyway, the Lions were totally robbed. TWO feet down in the end zone with total possession and control, falls down, lands on his ass, rolls over and THEN he one hands the ball on the grass. Incomplete. Game over. That was a joke.
  10. Last year Week 1 at New England- Edwards 15-25- 212- 2 TD's- 0 Int Bills 276 net yards. 24 points. This year Week 1 vs Miami Edwards 18-34-139- 1 TD- 0 Int Bills 166 net yards. 10 points. No idea what it means. Lost both. Edwards sucks.
  11. Worst team ever? 2008 Detroit Lions. 0-16. Scored 268 points and gave up 517. 2010 Bills could only tie the Lions for "worst team ever". Unless they give up more points and score fewer? What's the tiebreaker? Sad that it's even a topic of conversation. What's more likely? Bills win the Super Bowl or Bills go 0-16? Going to be a long season.
  12. According to WGR, Ayodele will be inactive and Torbor isn't playing Sunday. Some lucky fan picked at random in the parking lot before the game gets to play LB Sunday?
  13. How could China run out of jerseys?
  14. The Falls aren't real. They do not exist. Just an optical illusion. At night, they pull up the curtain and really it's just a big casino. I don't know where they would actually put a stadium in the Falls. I would go Buffalo waterfront first. I think where the Pier used to be would be a good spot.
  15. Best place for Maybin is collecting parking money out in the lot before the game. He would at least be doing someting useful.
  16. How is that a bad fit? He'd be a pefect fit! Have to play him next to Wang. Ugoh Wang. That's Priceless.
  17. Vic has been pounding the Nyquil pretty hard. Why do we give a crap what every media type predicts or says? Has nothing to do with the game on Sunday. Jack Mehoff said the Dolphins were going to win by 71 and then slap a few cheerleaders around for fun. Who really cares?
  18. Who cares? Play the best players you have and try and win. This is the NFL. There is no crying in football. What have Lynch and Jackson ever done to win games? Not a whole hell of alot. Marshawn can go smoke a 6 foot blunt for all I care.
  19. This year? Considering they are allegedly rebuilding, get the first pick in 2011. Be more exciting and competitive so I don't fall asleep on the couch during games because they are so boring. 2011- Provided there is a season, have a winning record and a shot at a wild card spot. 2012- Playoffs. 2013- Super Bowl.
  20. The new Meadowlands Stadium is in New Jersey, not NY. Eventually the Bills will need a new stadium. Can do two things. Extensive renovation of the Ralph or build a new one. Either way- no roof and no PSL's. I don't care if it's profitable, it's not my money, unless it's taxpayer funded. Even still, taxes are so high as it is, what's another billion on the pile? I'd put a 68,500 seat, open air stadium on the waterfront. Tons of unused land down there. Would also be a pretty cool spot to tailgate and conceivably help with the development of the area (which has gone almost nowhere in 50 years). In addition, it would help home field advantage. A nice, early December lake effect storm rolling in from a few feet away? Sweet.
  21. The TO factor? Ridiculous. I would say higher ticket prices, terrible economy and a continually bad losing team. I'm hearing people say the gameday experience has gone downhill as well. Still sold 43,925 season tickets. Not too bad. Attendance across the entire NFL is expected to be at its lowest total since the mid-90's. I think more people are investing in big screen HD TV's and Sunday Ticket. Used to be able to do both now it's one or the other. If the Bills were a playoff team, it wouldn't be a discussion, they'd easily sell 55,000 season tickets.
  22. Interesting post. I'd like to comment on the rosters part. Rosters- There are a ton of teams that have drafted better, evaluate talent better, sign better free agents and build better teams than the Bills have over the last 10 years. They have been drifting aimlessly for a decade. Never had a solid plan. Hindsight is 20/20 no doubt. One example- 2007 NFL Draft. 12th pick. Bills RB Marshawn Lynch- Cal. 14th pick Jets CB Darrelle Revis- Pitt. Nate Clements left as a FA after the 2006 season. Lynch played at California. Revis at Pitt. How do you blow that pick? Then in the first round in 2008 at #11, they take a CB! Leodis McKelvin, who has bust written all over him. The 2008 draft was a disaster. Ellis and Bell. That's it unless McKelvin pans out. How the hell do you build a team when you totally blow draft after draft? 2009 first round. They take Maybin over Orakpo. Maybin had potential. Orakpo stepped right in and made the Pro Bowl as a reserve- as a rookie! Washington switched to the 3-4 this year. "Orakpo, the Redskins' most explosive pass rusher, will take the lead as the "Buck" LB" in the new 3-4" Smart, tough and one of the best LB's in the NFL. JHC. What did we get? Maybin who probably shouldn't even be in the same league as Orakpo. You want hindsight. 2004- Bills traded a 2005 1st round pick to Dallas in order to move up and draft JP Losman. 2005 1st round. Green Bay selected Aaron Rodgers at 24th overall. Bills would have picked 20th. Green Bay let Rodgers develop for 3-4 years and he is now a "franchise" QB and GB should be a strong playoff contender this year. How did that work out for the Bills? Losman applied at McDonald's today and we are far from a playoff team and have no decent QB's to speak of. I get the point you were trying to make. I just don't see the optimism yet. If they had a plan 5 years ago and stuck to it and made better decisons, we'd have a playoff team by now instead of this mess.
  23. I'm not sold on Locker. Granted it was only the first game, on the road and BYU is not a pushover by any means but for a Heismann Trophy candidate and the early favorite to be the #1 overall pick in 2011, I thought he was just average. He reminds me of Drew Bledose for some reason plus he can run. Will have to see alot more out of him though. The other top QB prospects all played against very inferior competition in week one. Will be interesting to watch all these guys througout the season.
  24. Playoffs? How can you mention playoffs? Based on what exactly? Delusion reigns at TBD. They are in full rebuilding mode. That takes time. 4th in the division. 32nd in the league. 3 wins tops.
  25. I don't get all of the excitement over Urbik. He was inactive for all 16 games last year. He was cut this year. Bills needed an OL. They had two backups plus Wang. If Urbik has to play, that's not good.
