I know I'm in the minority here, but I'm fine with Daboll and I'd like to see Allen have three years in the same general offense.

I don't see what's to be gained by having Allen play with backups at all the skill positions. I get that he has to dress, but there's no point in playing him unless absolutely necessary.

Exactly. Because the roster is so small, we're going to have to play quite a few regulars regardless. I assume we'll sit guys like Morse who are a little banged up, and I would prefer that they sit Allen, Singletary, and Tre because of their importance next week, but you can't rest everybody. I'm hoping that they're just going to give Allen a couple of series to stay in his regular routine while keeping him out of harms way. Trust the process, I guess.

I hope we rest as many guys as possible. And besides our starters already beat the Jets once this year -- its only fair to let the backups finish them off.

This board, man. It's like some people care more about being proved "right" about an argument from two years ago than actually seeing the team do well. If I were an Allen hater, I think it would be a lot more fun to just say "Boy am I glad my pre-draft analysis was wrong" and enjoy the 10-win season and playoff spot than walk around miserable all the time.

I agree the OP, but this comes with the territory of playing a winning team in their home stadium. We had our chances and didn't make the best of them. On to (hopefully) Houston.

Honestly, best case scenario for us is HOU losing today and TEN losing tomorrow. I think that locks HOU into the 4 seed and eliminates any chance of them jumping above KC.

Yes. HOU wins the division with a win today, a TEN loss to NO, or a win against TEN next week. TEN needs all three of those games to go their way.
