  1. The AFC East is sitting there for the taking, for the first time in like 15 years.
  2. I've been pro-Daboll all season, but this article is spot-on, especially with regard to calling up hopeless runs in situations where good teams score TDs and put the game away.
  3. I have no problem with activating Duke over Foster -- it probably didn't matter much one way or the other. Regardless, we need to address this position in the offseason.
  4. That's going to be the play that I'll always remember about this game. As it was developing, I thought it was going to be a game-winner. And it should have been.
  5. It's like the whole team forgot how to play football after going up by 16.
  6. Yep. This team has an excellent core of players that we can build around. Last year's OL was terrible. It was never going to be completely fixed in a single year. It still needs work, but we'll get there. We need another WR. We've known that since early in the season. Duke isn't the answer. Again, we'll get there. Our QB made some outstanding plays to build a lead, get us to OT, and put us in a position to win. He's got room to grow. This loss sucks, but there's a lot to look forward to.
  7. I like Allen. Just being realistic. I know everybody's nerves are raw so I'll drop it.
  8. Allen played badly, but he's not the one who let Houston walk up and down the field in the second half. It took the whole team to choke this one away.
  9. We probably win the game if the players execute that play competently. It was a perfectly-designed play called at the perfect time, that should have been a game-winner.
  10. I'll be disappointed if we lose, but we've already out-performed my preseason expectations so I'll be happy with this season regardless. But let's just get this win.
  11. The Bills went 0-3 against Baltimore and New England, but all three games were close and competitive and we had the opportunity to win or force OT in all three. Houston is good, but they're not as good as either of those teams. I expect Buffalo to win on Saturday, with the usual caveat that one or two big plays either way can swing a game like this.
  12. This seems like a dumb controversy, but I guess Jets fans have to come up with something to keep themselves entertained during the playoffs.
  13. No, it's more like that if it weren't for Frank, we wouldn't have made it to four. I agree with OP that we need to upgrade this position in the offseason.
  14. Depending on how the schedule plays out, I might have to make the trip to Vegas. I feel kind of bad for the Raiders -- there are going to be a ton of away team fans at all of their home games in perpetuity
  15. Great post. Prior to the season, I was predicting 9-7 and in the playoff hunt. Locking up a playoff berth with two games left to go was beyond anything I would have predicted. We had zero head-scratching losses and mostly just took care of business like a team full of professionals. This is great, and it's a wonderful change of pace compared to the drought years.
  16. I agree. Allen doesn't need to blow up, but the offense collectively is going to need to score points. I doubt this is going to be a 17-13 type of game. Fortunately Houston doesn't have a particularly scary defense. Statistically this is the softest defense we've faced in a while.
  17. This is true, but the flip side of that is that we took care of business against the teams we were supposed to beat. Ask the Patriots about their thoughts on that particular topic right now.
  18. ? Barkley celebrates at midfield on his way to the end zone.
