  1. I thought that was fairly clear OPI. Maybe not the most blatant I've ever seen, but still pretty obvious.
  2. I imagine a "least favorite coach" poll would be really close between Rex, Marrone, and Jauron. A trifecta of incompetence.
  3. Trent Edwards. That offense was just dreadful to watch while he was under center.
  4. We consistently seem to win about two games more than our roster suggests every season. For three seasons. Some of the in-game decision-making is off IMO (it is for most teams), but the W-L results are there, and they've obviously done a great job in turning the culture around.
  5. I have a very high confidence level in this coaching staff and front office, and I haven't been able to say that in decades.
  6. Maybe he and Kraft can get a volume discount on legal fees.
  7. As soon as the Bills and Patriots were knocked out, I lost any rooting interest in any of the remaining games. I'd mildly prefer an AFC SB winner, but I don't really care much. Training camp can't get here fast enough.
  8. I love the fact that this team has players with identifiable personalities -- Josh, Tre, Dion all seem like real people, not just guys who wear a uniform and play football. This is going to be a fun team to follow for the next few years.
  9. Well, maybe that says something about where my expectations were set. ?
  10. Beane wasting no time in getting down to business. Bojo was better than expected this season, but it's an area that we should be able to upgrade.
  11. That's not the going rate for a QB of Brady's age and ability. It would not surprise me if Brady and the Patriots took a hard look around the league and decided that it was in both of their best interests to agree to a couple more years at a salary far lower than that. I honestly don't think there's a market for Brady outside of Boston. If you're Tom Brady, why do you sign with a dumpster fire like Miami instead of just retiring?
  12. I'm happy and proud to have Cody Ford as a member of this team. Period, full stop.
  13. Beane knows perfectly well that we need more help on offensive. He tried to sign Antonio Brown, remember. Last year was pretty slim pickings for WRs, and we did about as good as we could have by getting Brown and Beasley. This year we should have better options both in FA and definitely in the draft.
  14. Seriously, it helps a lot when you're watching other games to occasionally stop and ask yourself "What would people say if Josh Allen did that?" You really start to notice that other QBs occasionally throw into double coverage, get interceptions dropped, take sacks, fumble the ball while scrambling / getting sacked, etc. Allen just gets a disproportionate amount of criticism on all of those plays because that's the media narrative.
  15. That was an ugly, dangerous play, but it had absolutely no impact on the game whatsoever.
  16. Pretty much everybody except Singletary shares some responsibility for this one. I'm sure there's probably somebody on the defense who played a complete game and I'm just overlooking him.

  18. Let's remember that we just finished Year 2 of a complete team rebuild. Our offense in particular only returned two starters. Several of the new additions were guys who we were able to pick up for cheap as stop-gaps. This isn't a finished product.
