  1. #1 was a little frustrating, but passes like that happen. (As we've seen in this thread). #2-#5 are all just routine hiccups that are completely normal plays in every game at every level including those with future HOF QBs. Literally nobody gets their ball placement exactly right on every single play. Literally everyone tries to thread the needle now and again and has a potential interception dropped. None of those are worth losing sleep over.
  2. Me, an idiot: The Bills jumped out to a big lead and cruised to an easy victory. This is great! How nice to enjoy a relaxing Sunday and roll into work the next day all happy and energized. You, a genius: If you took away some of our points and gave the Jets some more points, the Bills would have barely even won, which is actually the same thing as a loss. Also, one guy on the defense didn't have non-stop SportsCenter plays which means he's probably a bust. At this point our only hope is to tank for a better draft spot.
  3. I strongly agree with this. Obviously it's not the same thing with regard to the scoreboard, but in terms of evaluating a K the expectation should be that he consistently puts the ball down the middle of the pipes at that distance. A 38 yarder should not feel like an adventure.
  4. I like deferring because I like getting the ball to start the second half, but I seriously doubt it really matters in the long run.
  5. So basically it's like the gameday threads.
  6. Yeah, I was stunned at how good the simulated crowd noise was. It isn't perfect, but it's hard to believe there aren't actually fans in the stands until they pan out and show the empty seats.
  7. The line is already up to 5/5.5: https://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/las-vegas/ That seems about right to me. The Bills are a much better team on paper, plus we have a huge advantage with regard to continuity. I don't expect this week's game to be any closer than last week's.
  8. I would like to revise and extend my remarks on how good the Bucs are looking.
  9. B+ is about right. Josh had a very good game, but he had a few mis-throws and turned it over twice. Ultimately, we won the game because of Josh Allen. That's the important takeaway.
  10. And there's the Saints TD, right on cue.
  11. Tampa looks legitimately good so far. I expected to be rooting against them because, well, you know, but they're bringing it against the Saints.
  12. Yep. Starting in the 2nd quarter, it seemed like we should have been able to run the ball at will given how successful we had been in the passing game and with all the QB scrambles. But nope, the running game never really opened up. I'm kind of assuming that the Jets just decided to take the running game away, because it's not like running the ball has ever been a weakness of this team. We'll see once somebody has a chance to break down the game film better than I can. For now, my only concern is at K.
  13. We jumped out to an early lead, moved the ball at will, and cruised to an easy win. Obviously Daboll must be fired.
  14. 15 other winning quarterbacks would say the same.
  15. Hard to hand out game balls today because darn near everyone played well and contributed. Well, except for our kicker of course. He gets a anti-game ball.
  16. I predicted this one 31-13. Didn't quite get there, but this game was so much more lopsided than even 31-13 would have suggested.
  17. Well, my Survivor season was short-lived. Thanks, Indy!
  18. I hope everyone enjoys the last few hours of the Tyler Bass era.
  19. The Bills need to learn how to step on the opponent's throat! Also, we should dial back the offense when we have a 21-0 lead!!
  20. Glad to see we're not going to let a 21-3 halftime lead stop us from complaining about Daboll.
  21. Can't ask for a much better start than this.
