  1. My heart aches for the Titans. So tough for them to be put through the wringer like this. Oh wait, no, screw those guys.
  2. I was fine with moving our game to Tuesday and bumping the KC game to the weekend. That's not great, but I strongly preferred that option to some stupid week 18 plan, and I'd rather get our wins by beating these nimrods on the field than by forfeit. I will lose my ***** if this game gets re-rescheduled. Either play it or cancel it. The Bills shouldn't be punished any more for Tennessee's incompetence.
  3. Imagine rooting for an undefeated team with a franchise QB and nothing but a bright future ahead of it, and wringing your hands over a second round pick from two years ago.
  4. If you're looking for positives, let's keep in mind that we have a two game lead on New England that might very well be only one game if Newton had played.
  5. The Buffalo Bills are wiping covid from the face of the earth one week at a time.
  6. As far as I can tell, the Titans will be missing two of their starting WRs and both starting DTs. Also their LS, along with some backups. Overall that's very good for us. Also, the Tuesday start gives our own banged-up players more time to get right. Overall, I'm good with this arrangement.
  7. On further reflection, I'm thinking screw that. I don't want to change opponents on a few days notice.
  8. Year 1A (before injury): Mostly bad, except for the Minnesota game. Showed flashes, but mostly bad. Year 1B (after coming back from injury): Huge step forward. Looked like a totally different player. Still below average, but fun to watch. Year 2: Another huge step forward. Won 10 games. Made several teams look silly, and kept us in there against elite teams. Year 3A (so far): Another huge step forward. The guy is carrying this team, and we would be 1-3 without him. Better weapons help, but Josh is playing lights out. This month has been like a lucid dream. 2020 so far has been the absolute best possible don't-even-fantasize-about-this-because-you-know-it-won't-really-happen start to the season as far as the QB position goes.
  9. Agree 100%. This guy was super-raw coming out of college. He never played with or against big-time players and he never received NFL-pipeline coaching. If a player was going to come along to blow up the standard analytics model, it would be a guy like that. Sure, a guy who plays four years at Ohio State who shows mechanical flaws is very unlikely to fix those flaws in the NFL, but that's because he's played under coaches who surely noticed those flaws and tried unsuccessfully to fix them. That was never the case with Allen. NFL teams had every reason for optimism that they could succeed where Wyoming's coaches failed.
  10. Exactly. Full disclosure -- before the season started, I had the Bills going 4-0 and suffering their first loss @TEN. Well, that game just got much easier. The Chiefs game got marginally tougher, but I'll take this tradeoff. We should hand the Titans their asses to them.
  11. At this point I kind of want the Bills to play a decimated Titans squad that hasn't had a chance to do any practicing or game-planning. Let's hang 50 on them.
  12. No brainer. You can't send Herbert back to the bench considering how he's been playing.
  13. Meh, I can deal with that. Not that much different than playing a team that is coming off a TNF game.
  14. Why would give this give the Bills a disadvantage in these games? We'd be playing a decimated Titans squad that's barely had a chance to practice, and KC plays this Sunday.
  15. I don't want a forfeit win either, but it's important to point out that Tennessee would not be forced to forfeit because they had positive results. Any punishment the team receives is because they flagrantly violated protocols and they put the entire season in jeopardy.
  16. Regardless of what happens with this week's game, I really hope the league comes down hard on Tennessee. Fine the owner, fine the coaching staff, fine every player who attended that practice, and take away multiple draft picks. The league needs to strongly discourage other teams from pulling this *****.
  17. No. If possible, I'd much rather go ahead and play the game on Sunday or Monday against whatever team the Titans can put on the field. Or, if the league decides that it's not safe to go that route, just skip this game and go by win % for playoff purposes. I'd rather take a forfeit win than have to play another game in week 18 while everybody else has the week off though.
  18. Couldn't disagree more strongly with this. Kelly was great of course, but Thomas was really the engine of that offense.
  19. Definitely Bruce / pass rush. We're missing that badly right now. This team doesn't have a Thurman Thomas either, but nobody really does anymore -- this is just a different era of football in which the RB position isn't all that terribly important. The days of building an offense around guys like Thurman, Barry, Marshal Faulk, etc. are pretty much over.
  20. Yeah, if the Titans broke protocols and this "informal" practice really happened, then **** 'em. They should forfeit and I'll happily accept it.
  21. The Jets job is going to be really attractive if they end up with the Trevor Lawrence pick. They're a clown show franchise, but frankly so were we before the Pegula's cleaned house.
  22. Same here. On one hand, I definitely don't want the Bills to be penalized for some other team's problem. Making this game up in Week 18 while everybody else gets a bye would tick me off. On the other hand, I want the Bills to knock off another undefeated team and not have any asterisks attached to this season's record.
  23. I'm not sold on this defense, but the guy is not wrong about Allen and Diggs. The Diggs trade is looking like a total steal.
  24. We lose this game, and lose it badly, without Allen. No grade, just saying that Josh Allen is literally carrying this team right now.
