  1. Lots of teams have had game plans for Allen.
  2. Not really. We'd like to see TEN lose and/or Indy win, but it's not a huge deal.
  3. Looked like Gilmore was grabbing his hamstring there.
  4. Yes. Touched by a player out of bounds.
  5. No. I want them to be in the playoff hunt next week, so we get to be the ones to end their season.
  6. I think it's time for us as a fan base to get over the Teddy Bruschis and PFFs of the world and just be happy with the talking that our team is doing on the field. We don't have any reason to be whiny.
  7. So in your mind, missing on a 5th round pick is comparable to drafting a franchise QB with a top 10 pick. Interesting.
  8. 12-4 is more likely 13-3, but 13-3 is absolutely do-able. The most likely L right now looks like Miami with Barkley under center. But our remaining games are all games that we'll be favored in.
  9. I voted no because I don't expect Allen to play against Miami. Then again, maybe he'll drop 4-5 on New England.
  10. This game isn't going to matter because we're going to manhandle the Broncos on Saturday, but Belichick simply doesn't lose to rookie QBs. I actually kind of like New England in this game.
  11. Bills WR Isaiah McKenzie reaches to retrieve a hand towel during practice.
  12. That's not really true though. They also got hammered by the Bills in front of their home fans lots of times.
  13. I like Milano a lot, but I don't think I can get past his injury history. If his market value is up there with elite Wills, I think I'd probably rather spend that money at other positions and address LB in the draft. As unpopular as that would be.
  14. Every time we receive a punt that gets downed inside the 5 yard line, I tell my son "That's okay -- it'll just be that much more impressive when we go 99 yards for a touchdown." He rolls his eyes at that joke because I've driven it into the ground during his 22 years on this earth. Honestly, though, I kind of feel that way about our schedule this year. Last year was a fun stroll through the tulip patch, but this year is a lot more impressive.
  15. I appreciate the point you're making, but I always like seeing our opponents tired, demoralized, and broken.
  16. Great post, OP. I thought Allen played basically fine in the first half even though the results weren't there. It felt like the Steelers were playing with twelve men on the field -- constant pressure in the backfield, and ultra-tight coverage behind. There were a bunch of plays in there where Allen was never able to get set but still put the ball right in his receiver's hands only to have it swatted away by a DB. That sucks, but there's not much the QB can do about it other than to keep plugging along and not make stupid mistakes by forcing the issue. By doing his job in the first half, Allen put himself and his team in a position to break the game open in the third quarter when they finally got a little breathing room. Perfect. This is a good game for Allen's continued development because it reinforces that we can go a couple of quarters without scoring and it'll be okay.
  17. The Ravens are run-oriented by design, because their QB isn't a good passer. Not sure why that's supposed to be some sort of refutation of OP's point.
  18. I've noticed the same thing. It seems like 2-pt conversions are nearly automatic against this team and have been for years. I was seriously sweating being up by 16 vs. up by 17 thanks to the missed PAT.
  19. I vividly remember waking up and checking my phone and seeing a text from my son that we had traded for Stefon Diggs. I thought "Wow, that's great -- this is exactly what this team needed." (In fairness, there were several WRs that I would have liked to have seen the Bills trade for -- you guys can all name them. But Diggs was on that list). I was genuinely shocked to see that trade get panned just because Houston fleeced themselves. It's so great to be able to throw that back in everyone's face.
  20. Hey look, after watching KC vs. MIA I get that we're all a little envious at other teams that have cheat-code TEs. But why start a thread like this after a huge win?
  21. When was the last time any of us had this problem? Other than last week of course.
  22. Thurman Thomas can sleep well tonight knowing that his team records are safe. Same for #78. The rest of this franchise's records are being rewritten as we watch.
  23. Yep. Every year, there is a team or two that gets red hot heading into the playoffs. Right now we are that team. Feels good.
  24. Diggs Allen Williams Wallace Johnson Moss
