I agree with you he earned his shot to play with a good WR corps to see how he would fare with more talent around him but they set him up for failure with the roster this season and scheme change and he still got to turn chickensh*t in the chicken salad...adapt or die....there's so many people that want to see him fail they outweigh the people that want to see him succeed it's kind of f****** disgusting but it is what it is he's got his back against the wall now....wish him the best. I agree with that. People harp kn his flaws but his playing style got results if the defense would have been better we would have been a wild card team last year this year things are set up for him to fail so it's either grow developed the part of the game that you weren't good at or look at finding another team in the offseason which might be likely regardless how he plays because this front office wants to draft its own quarterback that's fully suit its own scheme hope for the best prepare for the worst I agree with that I'm looking forward to seeing what our real offense looks like and I can almost guarantee Clay will probably be the most positive receiver this Season hope Jones gets a lot of targets to to further his development.

Defens will be better due to the scheme change alone. Offense will be worse due to the scheme change and losing watkins woods and goodwin. When all three are healthy they are a solid unit. I can agree with that the stats are on youre side but when your kc and you already have a starter his upside and potential is something thats worth signing. Right i also wonder if we had the right staff and roster to develop him properly. I think kc does and in that alone makes signing him a good idea thats worth a shot. Well know in 2 years.

Theres a lot of throws he wont get away with in the NFL youre right about that but good decision making can be coached up in certain qbs. Look at peyton mannings 1st season as an example. Ill bet you mahkmes becomes a solid to very good qb in a couple years

Ive seen mahomes go thru progressions in college tape and NFL preseason. The arm talent is undeniable, he just needs to work on mechanics and hes already got that back leg to calm down. I wudnt be surprised if he starts in another year or two
