I have a solid theory the preseason special teams penalties, and bad plays really made McDerm take special teams more seroously as a unit. Why the are starting, IDK but, i know why players loke banyard n Webb made the team over JWill and others. He probably sat down with April, asked him what the problem was, April said something aming the lines of "these guys are gpod depth players but i need good SPECIAL TEAMS players to get this unit where it needs to be. So he made surprising cuts and dresses better STers in gameday to strengthen STs, which goes with his philosophy of winning the game thru all 3 phases, offense, defense, AND special teams. The End. It was just a relief to watch our offense get the plays in on time and not look cluelessly at the sidelines waiting for roman tommake the call. Needs improvement but there was no delay of game on offense or timeouts wasted because of it.

Not yet 2.0 but thats now 2 regular season games in a row he has shown improvement on using the middle of the field, his TEs, and even a few anticipation throws there too. Trending up but we should see a full picture when hes asked to do more.

Positive: Win, run def,Tyrod using middle of field, plays being called on time, lower penalties. Negative: WR not getting a lot of seperation or not being targeted as much(havent seen the all 22), pass rush, dareus nowhere to be found, but the biggest one was getting too conservative with a small lead instead of hitting the killswitch. That will haunt us vs better teams

If they arent getting separation quick enough against better teams most will blame Tyrod for not finding them. I hope thats not an issue tho.

Yep got him wide open, and no delay of game on offense penalties every play got IN on time. Some of the running plays felt flat n somemcalls repetitive n unINspired Right. Next week we have the INside track tho. Hope we develop a deep ball threat and soon, too many 8 plus jn the box plays are gonna wear Shady down
