Holy ****. what a way to get retirement money. SMH. "Hey son climb your ranks as a football coach get a solid NFL contract be smart with your money and your set for life" wow. Although I agree with your comment. The tampering rule is really stupid. -
LOL yep. Id take Green to replace Searcy. Would like to have a playmaking FS on the team that with WR experience can snag some INTs and has experience finding the ball in the air and catching it at the high point

Did not know that. Didnt Tomsula get a 1 year deal at SF? Regardless Rex has no excuses this year got his brother on staff a season with the team and hand in the draft picks. A lot of us are hopin its a prove it or lose it year for em. If he gets the Axe I hope we keep Roman Kromer and Whaley on staff. -

DAMN!! wow. wish I had an agent like Rex...damn why the hell wouldnt Pegs go for a 3 year deal? Rex has to have one of the best contract negotiating agents in the game. Wat if this was Rexs scam all along? Talk big. Fall flat. Get fired take the money retire and run to the next TV channel that will hire me off my personality and promo skills. -

I think its obvious the HC had a lot to do with the defensive drop off bc thats his "specialty" and calls the plays pretty much, he is responsible for not replacing spikes and searcy as well as adjusting during the season. I watch jets games and was NOT pleased with the Rex hire especially losing Shwartz but the FA moves they made gave me "bills" hope lol. I just hope Pegs has the insight to cut Rex off if it doesnt work out this season. The question is, after a signed 5 year deal, does Pegs still have to pay Rex the whole contract if he gets fired next off-season? -

If people just quit doing things because the odds were against them nothing great would ever be accomplished. So why not give it a shot? just cuz history shows it would fail? history showed the wright brothers would continue to fail at trying to fly and they never quit, eventually they did fly. Those are gross over-comparisons to the impact of a minor league football league but the thought process is the same. Give it a shot, not you but, whoever is making it happen give it a shot see what happens. If it succeeds or it fails you and I gain nothing. so !@#$ it. I hope it does work just so people who like to play the sport can go somewhere and make a living doing what they like to do if nothing else. -

Theres truth in both arguments. We lost Spikes and Searcy which were great in Shartzenators scheme. Spikes was a veteran run stuffing 2 down MLB. Searcy was a genuine Saftey and a good one at that. with all the offseason moves they never replaced Spikes or Searcy and that hurt the defense more then anyone would have exptected. This doesnt absolve Rex of his in-ability to see the holes in his defense roster, and the gap between his scheme and the players strengths and what that would do to morale and overall results. Which is why I think 2016 is make or break for Rex with 2 years to implement his scheme and another draft to grab guys that fit his scheme, if the Defense falls under top 10 again, hes gone. -

I did say 'granted he was drafted to the NFL'. What about Fjax Flutie and Kurt Warner? 2 of those guys made it to the playoffs one of them went to 3 SuperBowls and won one. Ive been there for the D league failures. I dont wish failure on anyone I hope everyone succeeds as long as it doesnt hurt anyone else in the process. Theres more positives then negatives to that league succeeding. I guess thats just a difference in our thought process. How I think it will turn out means nothing to what I would like to happen to it. -
One FA OT comes with catch - self tampering
Marty McFly replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is what a smart connected agent would have made happen. What exactly is the penalty tho? Suspension or the team that signs him gets a fine? If hes a good player after the surgery dont we need more OL horses? -
Based on his play and development from week 1 to week 17 this season Who really Billieves in Tyrod Taylor enough NOT to take a QB in the 1st round and go Defense instead? As the future or as an interim to the next "Kelly" type franchise guy? Apparently Jay Skurski of the Buffalo news throws him a vote of confidence. http://bills.buffalonews.com/2016/02/02/power-take-taylors-play-means-bills-do-not-need-to-pick-up-qb-early/

I believe a great QB went to a D-League to play against mediocre crappy college grads and walk ons in the mid-late 80s....then came to the NFL and led his team to 4 strait SuperBowls. granted he was drafted to the NFL...another QB got stuck in the CFL for years finally got his shot and went on a 2 year miracle run that put the Bills in the playoffs only for Rob johnson debacle to happen. Another player a RB #22 was stuck in arena football and NFL Europe for years finally got his shot in the NFL and was sometimes the only bright spot on a crappy team for years. who were those guys? You dont remember were they came from and who they played for huh? so yeah i think its a good idea. what does it do for you if it succeeds or not? nothing. so why the negativity brah. let it play out you never know a diamond in the rough unless you dig it out the dirt and wipe the crap off it. where the diamond comes from doesnt really matter as long as you find him. he could be the guy bagging ur groceries or working at a home depot. as Kurt Warner. -
Flip Aaron Rogers and David Carr situations

The MLB brings up players from the minor leagues all the time. I actually does hope it succeeds. there would be more developed talent pool for NFL teams to choose from with more game tape and a place to play for $$$ for the college guys who dont get a chance but could be good NFL material like Kurt Warner and Fjax. NFL needs a minor league they keep complaining bout college QBs not being ready for the pro-game cuz of the college style well heres the solution. If they survive a season financially the NFL might invest and then its all history. or it crashes and burns and takes the XFL route. -
Ragland not improve? does he have the "Slow development" stat in madden or something? I understand ur stance on Lee but, saying Ragland wont improve Just BC he's considered NFL Worthy it isnt a fair assumption to make rite now After watching Oakman make a few good plays in the senoir bowl he seems too slow to be that effective at the NFL level but thats only one game so meh.... Seriously would be pissed/disappointed if we go this route and take a QB even Wentz 1st Oakman 2nd...Just no....smh...no...
