im not surprised by this at all. The league is pass happy now making DBs even more valuable. In the 90s you could get away with 2 solid CBs and 2 solid Safteys, now you need a shut down corner and 2 solid CBs that can cover the slot with at least 3 solid starting Safteys. I see us drafting a DB in the 1st 4 rounds but not the 1st. Even in the newer maddens the CPU plays pass happy (minus the seahawks) I find myself using 4-3 or 3-4 on 1st then nickle or dime on 2nd 3rd n 4th.

agree. i always take Ragland 1st in the draftek mocks if hes there. Honestly IDC if its an ILB or an OLB all I know is we need a star rookie LB, and a start ready NT outta this draft to make Rexs defense work better this season.

I live in jersey so ive seen lots of Rex jets games and tbh his scheme can make ****ty players play good (WHEN THEY BUY IN), ive seen it a few years. the GM stopped getting Rex the players he wanted in 2012 and beyond there was a big divide in the front office. Rex isnt perfect and I hated the hire when it happened last year, I was really surprised at how much our defense regressed but was optimistic to see our offense gettin in stride especially last game vs nyj. Lookin at our depth chart Whaley needs to have the best draft of his life if we want to be real contenders. We need at least 2 solid start ready LBs ( ROLB, ILB) a start ready NT/DT(to free up Dareus to rush as DE in 3-4), a project Saftey, WR2, and depth corner. Thats a lot to ask from one draft. Our saving grace is the offense is consistently the same and has time to build chemistry this off season with a QB locked in as starter, Watkins needs to put on some muscle to stay healthy, Woods is good as long as hes healthy, Goodwin is gonna be too busy being an olympic dooshbag and get injured in pre-season, Karlos needs to stay healthy and Gillislee played well in the last 2 games, and with our new super blocking TE that should free Clay up on more receiving routs, I hope they make Tyrod practice the 2 minute drill every !@#$ing day and make him start to Peyton manning that **** cuz waiting on Offense calls in pressure clock situations is no bueno. Big Tyrod fan but my dog needs to step up in the pocket and hit the middle of the field more and command the huddle and be able to call his own plays when hes playing for the lead in the last 5 mins of the 4th quarter. This is a lot to ask but if we want playoffs all this has to happen while the defense STARTING A BUNCH OF ROOKIE has to get the super complex Rex scheme and buy in and gel. Im optimistic but I fear the offense, Darby, Hughes, & Dareus are gonna be the only things worth watchin next season. 10-6 at best 7-9 at worst. stuck in Bills limbo. Go Bills Damnit!

In the unlikely event that the Bills do plan on building a new stadium, would you want a dome? Or an open stadium like we currently have. Pros: We have the most ridiculous weather in the league which is a slight disadvantage to us and a bigger disadvantage to visiting teams but, we play 8 games a year there which hurts us more then opposing teams. We will finally rid ourselves of the Indian burial curse and Flutie curse in one shot. (Curses are real for the sake of this argument) Cheerleaders can now wear really revealing attire showing off more T&A boosting fan and team morale. We will no longer have to worry about game plan changes based on the crazy wind we get mid-late season. We can sign future QBs think 2020 and beyond, with smaller hands that dont perform well in outdoor stadiums. Will attract players that dont like playing in cold climates Its easier to get warm before/during games in an arena then in buffalo weather. Domes are enclosed areas so if you thought the Ralph was rocking before, the arena will amplify that sound. Cons: The tax players foot the bill. Its the !@#$ng RALPH! Ticket prices will go up No more awesome snow games. No more teaching kids to be men and watch the Bills in freezing temperature weather. NOW: For the sake of the post, lets say tax players dont have to foot the bill. Hypothetically which would you rather the new stadium be?

Would love to have Rankins as our NT next season. honestly I think if we go heavy defense we can pick up vernon adams as a UDFA. kids like the next Russel Wilson, Would fit great in G-Ro scheme, has great accuracy and deep ball from the pocket, also is mobile when he needs to be. IF Tyrod gets hurt and manuel pulls a manuel he could step up and be what Tyrod was last season with maybe a few rookie hiccups. I also like Prescott much more then Hackenburg, Hack is accurate and makes good decisions but he is really slow and is gonna get demolished vs the teams with good pass rush.

I think Kap could be schemed into a problem but I like RG3 more, it seemed like the skins didnt block for him last pre-season. Regardless it seems like theyll wind up grabbing one of them since they cant/dont want to pay fitz. I think our defense will confuse and defend well against both tho

Alabamas defense played so well together they made each other look better if that makes sense. So its a questionable as to who on that team will be a star or bust since the sum might be greater then the individual parts

Hes worked with top Dline men personally before, so the NFL players must think highly of him and his record in College W/L doesnt mean much if hes just gonna coach the line

Lets remember Woods had a groin injury last season that pretty much kills your speed and explosion. I think Woods is gonna be a great Slot WR we just need to find a red zone threat WR2 in the draft. Also looking forward to putting Deonte Thompson back on the field, he was great in preseason

Woods is a good WR2 when you have a big red zone threat like a Megatron or julio jones. since we got sammy we need a big body WR on the other side. I think Woody is a great receiver just not the big red zone threat we need to compliment Sammy. No one is gonna double team woods, Woods is gonna be a great slot WR when we draft a good X WR in the 3rd-5th round. Also since Tyrod wasnt the undisputed starter last season he didnt get time to build football chem with sammy or woods. Woods played hurt all season so I expect him to be a lot more involved next season when Roman throws a little more at Tyrod.
