thats not true we have $50 mill to play with next season. Only thing holding this team back from competing is the lack of continuity n chemistry on offense (fixed this off-season) and coaching on Defense n the players learning the playbook. (dont know if that one will ever be fixed),,,

Agree, this year is make or break, he got his draft, he got his brother fully pregnant, and called in a favor from Ed Reed, he knows if the defense dont Jump back into the top 15 AT THE VERY LEAST, hes gone, and rightfully so.

I meant Shaq is already better then the unmotivated Lazy Mario that played here last year. Its gonna be years before Shaq is even close to the Mario we had before rex got here

Shaq>Lynch I hope Whaley stays if Rex gets canned, considering our defensive situation Whaley had the best draft of his career (ON PAPER), I think thats whats pissing off the fans that didnt like the draft, we had a good D then Rex broke it and had to spend a draft fixing it but we did get some really good players even if Rex gets canned. We have STILL to find a ballhawk to replace Searcy. Ragland > Spikes....by A LOT.....like not even close if you look at the columbine #s AND everyone cried for a defensive leader last year, well we drafted him in Reggie. Also Shaq is cleared to play and is already better than a Lazy mario, Adolphus Washington is much better then Charles and can play every spot on the Dline in 3-4. Our 1st 2 picks were the BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYERS IN THEIR CONFERENCE at positions of need!! We'll have to see what the picture looks like when the paint dries tho.

Agree. Im so glad we didnt take Paxton, Hackenburg, or Cook in the 1st or 2nd like people had us mocked. It is, Im actually rootin for the kid. I like watchin the Broncos, Giants, Lions, and even the Jets when they dont play us. Still dont see how Detroit went the whole draft witout trying to get a replacement for Megatron, they got more O-line protection and a replacement for Suh so that made sense but, its !@#$ing MEGATRON! hes retired so you gotta find his apprentice on some Star Wars Sith **** At a cheaper price AND younger, Listenbee is gonna be a good pick mark my words, he will prob be WR3 but he will have a role in taking a Safety away from Watkins with his 4.39 speed. Was also not a fan of the QB pick I wanted a Safety there but OBD thought the QB had to be addressed with a boom or bust pick.

I think thats why Whaley took Adolphus over Billings when I thought about scheme specific creelies. Shaq is a 4-3 DE that can play 3-4 ER. Only Ragland is scheme based but even then he would take Spikes spot (that we never replaced last off-season) if Rex gets fired and we go back to a 4-3

I think this is Whaleys best draft ON PAPER. Because ON PAPER We out drafted everyone in the AFC East easily. We got 3 day one starters with Shaq OLB/DE, Reggie ILB, and Listenbee (WR3), 2 stud depth players in Adolphus Washington at DT (to replace Kyle eventually), and the best Williams available pick at RB we took in the 5th that had a 3rd round grade (we are a running team, now we have 4 capable RBs, 3 young with upside that are not named Bryce Brown and Boom Heron), a developmental boom or bust QB that could be Cam 2.0 or clip holder 2.0, and a CB that had a 1st round grade before the season started until the shenanigans at USC kinda shaded him in the media. We filled every whole our defense had except for Saftey. Listenbee has less of a chance of getting inJured then Goodwin bc he has more weight and is a little taller. Listenbee is great to have bc even though he has to work on his route tree, he kills people on the Go route and thats gonna take a safety off Watkins after one of TTs long bombs to Listenbee burns them for a TD. I am pleased with this draft even though S and RT went un-addressed. ON PAPER it was a great draft and we did better then the rest of the AFCE. As we all know games arent played on paper so its gonna be a nice long 3 months before **** gets real.

Actually Shaq is the only Edge Rusher in the whole draft to fit the "Force player" metrics NFL teams use to base career trending predictions on, which place him among ProBowlers like JJ Watt, etc...I understand my thoughts exactly. Nice counters guy.

I thought Safety Mills got drafted no? either way if Cash doesnt get drafted I bet Rex makes Whaley make that call. Or at least bring in a UDFA Safety for a look. CJ Anderson was an UDFA and hes a Super Bowl Champ and starting caliber RB. Tony Romo was an UDFA too. So we might get lucky with a solid player out of the pool.

Im sure Vinny Testaverde would pick up the phone if it rang. LOL Cash dropped CRAZILY the way they hyped him up prior to the draft. I dont think he makes it out un-drafted but its a possibility.

Time will tell. Its been real dead freddie! I agree with the draft grade we did damn good, still scratching my head with the BWA pick but meh Whaley knows what his doing, this might be his best draft yet.

I think I remember people getting pissed if he gets picked cuz "its not his talent its his connections" and such, IDK if thats true has anyone seen him play? is he good in coverage and pass defense?

I was confused cuz u said that right before the Mike Tomlin interview.....but now I get it......they have a zillion draft picks even with losing their 1st round pick they really know how to play* the game.

Hate to point out the dead cat on the road but.....we lost our 7th round pick FOR MATT CASSEL last year...smh....so we only have one pick left and its a compensatory 6th round
