I did my taxes earlier today. What I do is I sit down and do my taxes on the all four of the big online tax prep sites. HR Block, Turbo Tax, Tax Act, and Tax Slayer. Then I compare the numbers and make sure all four returns are consistent. Then I compare how much each site charges to file. This year I got my taxes won with HR Block, free Federal and State. They slip in upgrade offers that look like you have to pay but just pay attention and you can opt out.

According to my profile I"ve been here since 2003. Longer than that actually before registering this name. So yes, I've been here long enough to know that Tom comes across as a pompous prick I've also been here long enough to know how to engage him in conversation and not take his insults to heart. Tom loves to deconstruct flawed arguments and you've given him ample opportunity. Ignoring him for doing so rather defeats the purpose of having a conversation. You've attempted to make points here in the past that Tom has rebutted. But since you have him on ignore you never see his remarks and thus never offer your own rebuttal. In the end your posts comes across as a drive by and Tom comes out the winner If you really want to get under Tom's skin, come here with your facts straight. Accept that parts of your argument may have flaws. And never base your arguments on emotion over logic. Tom will still call you an idiot but it will be out of begrudgingly respect.

Fair enough. There's more than one way to power a dishwasher. But you are still mixing power and water. The power cable runs into an outlet which is wired into your homes electrical system. If I had to venture a guess that outlet is fed via bare romex behind drywall In my kitchen, the dishwasher is wired into a junction box under the sink like the picture above. Rather than separating the power and water via drywall the romex is run thru watertight flex and all connections are made within an approved electrical junction box.
