  1. Lalo was referenced in Breaking Bad. I posted the clip on page 12. A few weeks ago I posted the same clip after reading a rumor about the introduction of the Lalo character
  2. And let's not forget Admiral Chelsea for getting him evacced to the Comfort
  3. To sum it up, the OP's link is a commercial to invest in a company pushing wireless electricity. Not exactly a new concept either. Tesla (the 19th & 20th century genius, not the 21st century car company) tried and failed to harness the power of the Earth to broadcast wireless electricity. The concept is put to use with wireless phone charging stations. These work on low voltage devices at a very short range. Now applied to a world wide power grid? How much power will it take to generate all this "free" electricity? How many transmitter towers would be needed? How much extra power is needed to compensate for energy lost in transmission? It takes energy to make energy. It takes energy to transmit energy.
  4. Except Nacho's staged hijacking occurred 10 months ago. Remember there was a bit of a fast forward in the prior week's episode? My guess is now that Hector can communicate he wants a blood Salamanca running the operation rather than some hired muscle
  5. An excellent point. Maybe the problems at HHM draws Hamlin into Jimmy's orbit
  6. Noon: Flip between #12 West Virginia @ #25 Texas Tech (yeah I know, meh, but at least it's a ranked matchup) on ESPN2 and Central Michigan @ #21 Michigan St (I'm a B1G kind of guy) on FS1 3:30 - #18 Texas @ Kansas State on FS1 4:30 - Michigan @ Northwestern on Fox, flipping back to the Texas @ Kansas St during commercials Yeah the early games today are pretty lackluster. But things get real in Prime Time 7:30 #4 Ohio St @ #9 Penn St on ABC. Probably the biggest game of the season so far. During commercial breaks I'll flip over to: 7:30 #7 Stanford @ #8 Notre Dame on NBC. Considering the poor selection of afternoon games, why didn't NBC move this to the afternoon spot? I understand this one merits prime time, but they're gonna lose alot of viewers running opposite tOSU @ PSU. If they had moved this to the afternoon it would have easily been the most watched afternoon game 8:00 #20 BYU @ #11 Washington on Fox After Ohio St @ Penn St and Stanford @ Notre Dame have finished, I'll flip over to FS1 for the 10:30 #19 Oregon @ #24 Cal matchup and turn on my TV's sleep timer
  7. FBS = Football Bowl Subdivision. The big time with the big money spent on programs and big time revenue generated from TV deals and advertising. Teams (with a few exceptions) play in conferences and range in power and prestige from schools like Alabama, Ohio St, Texas all the way down the scale to schools like Old Dominion and Buffalo. At the end of the year a group of self important big whigs decide which four teams get to play for the title. The rest of the teams play get paid a ton of money to travel somewhere and play a team from another conference, with those matchups predetermined by where each team finishes in the standings in their respective conference. The four teams blessed by the allmighty Oz play in two special bowl games with the winners going on to play in the final bowl game of the season for the National Title FCS = Football Championshiop Subdivision A step down from the big time. Still a bunch of money thrown around but a fraction of what FBS generates. FCS has schools like Youngstown St, North Dakota, and James Madison. There are no bowl games and a playoff field of 24 teams determined by a committee consisting of one athletic director from a school in each conference Division 1 = FCS and FBS Division 2 is major step down from Division 1 FCS with considerably less money involved and Division 3 is a step below D2
  8. RB2 : Lesean McCoy, Aaron Jones, or Jamaal Williams Shady's hurt and Jones/Williams are splitting carries with each other Flex: Runner up above, Sammy Watkins, or Doug Baldwin Baldwin is coming off an injury and is playing hurt. Sammy has put up some points in his absense Defense: Baltimore or Green Bay
  9. I don't know about a series but maybe miniseries as teenagers. Or even better, as adults. Take some over the top dramatic series like This Is Us or A Million Little Things and replace the cast with adult versions of Cartman, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Butters, Wendy, Tweek, Token, etc
  10. The charges against Kavanaugh are kinda like Alyssa Milano. Both are vague memories from the 80s
  11. She's a maneater Whoa! Here she comes! Watch out boy, she'll chew you up!
  12. So Hirono emphasizes that this isn't a criminal proceeding, it is a job interview. Then she proceeds to grill him on his alcohol use If this is a job interview, she just violated the American with Disabilities Act.
