    Halftime of LSU @ Florida on CBS featured a commercial for the new season of Madam Secretary. I had it on mute so I didn't catch the sound, but there's going to be an episode with a cameo by Hiliary Clinton. It's almost like they're not even going to try to pretend anymore

    Agreed, the system as a whole is flawed. But we will have to disagree on the topic of bias, which IMO is inherent to the flawed system. Granted if Penn St had the decade of dominance that Ohio St or Alabama has enjoyed, they would be the ones receiving the benefit of bias

    Don't know if a computer is needed, but maybe codify some kind of basic guidelines as to who is eligible? Or maybe balance out the selection committee. Instead of appointing random journalists and former players, maybe do something like FCS. Where you have one Athletic Director from each of the Power 5 schools, a rotating AD member from the Group of 5, and a rotating member from Fox/ABC/CBS

    I've noticed the 506 maps lately all have a dot over Erie. I wonder if maybe there's an Erieite involved in putting those maps together Erie is in Buffalo's market but WSEE and Fox66 can request a change to over to the Steelers or Browns on a weekly basis. If you do the Reddit thing, make sure your Antivirus and Antimalware are all up to date. Reddit doesn't host the streams they just link to other sites that have been known to sneak malware into their webapges and streams. I run a packet sniffer on my router called Snort that blocks all kinds of nasty schitt from some of these sites

    The House and Senate will inevitably flip at some point and flip back. What concerns me is talk from the Democrats that if they take control they will start impeachment proceedings against Kavanaugh. Which will set the precedent to remove Supreme Court Justices whenever the political winds shift

    Depends when the loss ocurred. An early season blowout to a lesser opponent would be forgiven and forgotten. Which is why there needs to be an objective selection method and an expanded field.

    Elevating a non division champ over a conference champ IMO shows a preference for particular schools over the rest of their conference. What is the point of a conference championship game if The Committee is just going to pick another team anyway? This might have been a top 10 matchup if not for those pesky Old Dominion Monarchs
