  1. You're ruining this message board by offering multiple sentences and hopeful commentary. JK, keep it coming.
  2. I doubt it no. My kingdom for intelligent insight instead of "sentences" that elementary teachers would wince over.
  3. Thanks for this. I didn't think it was possible. Although you don't click, you just run your mouse over the name to see ignore. When I click it, there is a follow button, but not ignore. Awesome thanks.
  4. Thanks for the reply. I needed the chance to be optimistic.
  5. Did you think Josh would suddenly be a HOF QB in his first go round against the Patriots? Apparently you did not expect a learning process, just instant achievement. Can we block posters on this board? That's a feature I'd take full advantage of.
  6. I've moved to San Diego and want to bring my kids back for a game in the next couple of years. Are the fans in the stands equally whiney? If so, maybe I don't want to do that. Insufferable. I come on the board looking to view some of the reactions, but it's hard to filter out all of the unintelligible noise.
  7. Agreed. I have no need to keep any member of our offensive line. i know they cannot replace everyone, but they are all expendable.
  8. 3% drop rate. Try making a valid comment
  9. What evidence led you to believe we might be?
  10. When did this become "official"? Did Beane fire McDermott? Was he quoted saying something to the contrary?
  11. He was there anticipating the hail mary. HA!
  12. Given his position, catching balls that reach you are important. Darrius Heyward Bey is known to be a good blocking receiver and has somehow parlayed that into a long career. Apparently that has value in the NFL. He is not valued for his receiving skills. I think Zay was drafted as a catching receiver, so his drops are definitely a cause for concern. If he was a late, or undrafted player I don't think we'd have the same issues. We used a 2nd round pick on him, so the expectation is higher. Now that he's our "#1" receiver, even more will be expected.
  13. Wow! I'm not even that self righteous. What do you expect from this team? Given the talent on the field, this team still over-performs. This squad has serious problems. This roster was atrociously constructed years ago as was our cap situation. There are some positives, but there are still major needs. I'm not going to say McD is blameless, but rolling coaches every two years is stupid. This roster was not going to be totally overhauled in two years. With cap space and a 3rd draft, I'm looking at next year as a more realistic gauge of what we'll expect.
  14. He did not get hit by the blocker as much as he stopped and leveraged the corner. With the running back there, he should have continued upfield
  15. I didn't see the play live. Was the receiver pushed backwards out of bounds, or did he run there himself? If defense stopped progress, then clock should run. If under own power, then stop clock.
  16. Tre was not affected by that arm out. Not even really and arm bar. If Tre started tighter he might have gotten something, but there was already separation.
  17. I'm honestly hoping the Jets score a TD here. 1) I want to see Josh run a game winning drive or 2) We get a better draft slot Not much to lose here really
  18. No, Crossman did not kick the FG. That was done by the players. Crossman is responsible for teaching his players the rules, so as not to get ridiculous penalties, such as pre-kick alignment. Yes, that is on him. Either Poyer is dumber than a box of rocks who should never be on a field were he so dumb, or he's confused which is on the coach. Bowles, BOWLES was laughing after the penalty. Maybe he wasn't thinking "how do you have illegal formation on a kickoff?", but I really think he was.
  19. Technically, he never got his hands on it. It bounced off his chest.
  20. Our solution there was Bodine. Star was a bad signing, but it did not affect our center choices.
  21. Yep. That's a position that I'd like us to consider in round 1. I'd love to trade down and look at stockpiling linemen
  22. Don't love that ball landing within the sidelines. He is allowed to literally throw it into the stands once out of the pocket provided it goes beyond LOS, so stop allowing any risk
  23. Dawkins has to get his arms extended much sooner on the sack play. Poor technique
  24. ...and as I hit send, he hits Foster on the sideline. There should be some more of that
