This year he seemed particularly abrasive and defensive. I think the pressure of not being the only "Draft expert," out there is starting to get to him. The whole grading system seems silly. He's essentially giving teams a grade based on how much they agreed with his assessments.

NFL Network had much better coverage. They need to fire their sound guy though. The sound was horrible.

I am happier with this draft than any draft I can remember. It's a weird feeling as a Bills fan to be satisfied following a draft. Hopefully my positive feelings are warranted and these players are the first step towards the Bills returning to relevancy in the NFL.

So keep him around as the team mascot. You don't just give him away.

Seahawks had two first round picks. Browns had an extra second. It's not hard to have a good draft when you have extra picks. I'm not sure what you like so much about the Lions draft.

Who would you they have rather taken? Cody? Please, that guy is just as likely to eat himself out of the NFL as he is to be a future Pro Bowler. Troup is a fine pick. He is a true 3-4 NT. He's in great shape and has great power. What more do you want?

I'm responding to a guy that is getting pissy because the Bills "need" a QB, but aren't taking one, I point out that just because there's a need doesn't mean there's a player to fit the need, and somehow I'm the one that needs credentials. Whatever dude, I'm just some guy on the Internet.

Right, but at the same time you're risking not getting the guy that you're supposedly targeting. Kudos to them for getting their guy and still coming out ahead, but seems like they could have done so with less risk of not getting Tebow. I think what happened is they were going to come away big winners and then at the last minute they had to scramble and give away a lot of their accumulated picks because Buffalo or someone else was making a move to get Tebow. Luckily for them they had accumulated enough extra picks to play big spender and get the deal done.

This team won't be fixed in one draft. Spiller will be a good player. I'm confident they will add a good player in the second round tomorrow as there are a lot of good players left. I know it sucks, but we have to hope that Nix knows what he's doing and give him his chance at bat.

I looked over it real quick and it seems like they picked up a third, but lost a fourth for their trouble. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Seems like a lot of risk with not a lot of reward if they were so convinced Tebow was the guy they wanted.

So which would you rather they do? Use the 9 or give up the 2, 3, and 4. Personally I wouldn't have had a problem with taking him at 9 if Nix and Gailey wanted to hang their hat on him, but I just want to know what the guys that are pissed the Bills didn't take Tebow would have been willing to give up for him.

Would you have rather taken Tebow at 9 or given up a 2, 3, and 4 round pick? Because that's what it would have taken to ensure getting Tebow. They took a chance that he'd be there in the second and it didn't work. The price was too damn high to jump up.

Is it me or could the Broncos have just taken him earlier in the first round, not kept trading down, and actually come away better off? I wasn't following it too closely, but it seemed like they gave up a lot to trade up and take him.
