  1. I think you can add Edwards and Mitchell to that list as well.
  2. Ralph's probably really stoked to pick up another couple million. To me this is another indication that the Bills are committed to making money and not winning football games. As others have pointed out, Mitchell isn't an elite player, but he was a solid player at a position of great need for this team. I just don't see how the Bills will get better by continually throwing out players and replacing them with practice squad fodder. Just an idle thought, I wonder if this has anything to do with the Kelsay contract.
  3. Thanks man. I think I'm going to give that Cornell BBQ a try.
  4. I was assigned this for this weekend's tailgate and wanted to make something good. Any advice?
  5. Just got assigned chicken skewers for this weekend. Anyone have a good marinade recipe for these?
  6. Looking back the Donohoe era was like a golden age. Man, that's depressing.
  7. Good article. I don't really understand how anyone can see it any other way.
  8. That's kind of a chicken or the egg situation. Maybe if they had a competent organization that had the feel of a top flight organization then the free agent problem would fix itself. Before they were bought by Robert Kraft and he made a commitment to winning, how many free agents do you think wanted to go to New England?
  9. It's a perfect storm of inept coaching, poor management of the franchise, and a general lack of talent on the offense.
  10. You're dead on with Oher, but dead wrong with Bulaga. The two I'd love to have back are Ngata for Witner and Oher for Maybing. Coincidentally both on the Ravens.
  11. Best available player, leaning towards a lineman on either side of the ball.
  12. Wang was born in Virginia, not China. Just in the interest of "honesty."
  13. Well it seems they've reached a new low. I didn't buy into the hype about them being the worst team in the NFL going into this season, but I don't see any evidence that this is anything but truth. Ten years of having absolutely nothing to look forward to in the NFL season tends to do that to you. As to why I take the time to discuss this team, I don't really know. Maybe I'm a masochist.
  14. After watching Trent Edwards the first two games any NFL QB with starting experience would be an upgrade. I'm hard pressed to think of a more defeated, anemic, sad sack performance from an NFL quarterback.
  15. I suppose there's a bit of hyperbole in my post, but I guess you just want to take things at face value, so do you think pro football is being played in Buffalo these days? Players laughing at the Bills openly on the field and you think that's not pathetic? Take a look at these numbers http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=2&offensiveStatisticCategory=GAME_STATS&conference=ALL&role=TM&season=2010&seasonType=REG&d-447263-s=TOTAL_YARDS_GAME_AVG&d-447263-o=2&d-447263-n=1 does that look professional to you? And then in 2012 the story will be "Well just give them some more time they have a young QB and that takes time to develop, but they're finally on the right track." Same old song and dance for a decade.
  16. Habit I suppose. Why do you feel that people have to have a rosy outlook in order to post on a message board?
  17. A lot of "ifs" in there. I think its time we faced the fact that professional football in Buffalo is over. The zombie that is shambling around in its place is an embarrassment.
  18. Because I think in the unlikely event that they can find someone to buy the Bills and keep them in Buffalo, they'll probably run it the same way Ralph is and keep collecting the TV money.
  19. Nope. I think he's a gigantic douche that takes himself way too seriously.
  20. Ralph Wilson has failed us. Despite all the apologists on this board, the guy has run the Bills like a money making operation for the past decade. While it is well within his rights to simply go into Bill Bidwell mode and make a tidy profit every year, you simply won't win in the NFL by nickel and diming every aspect of your operation. Until that changes the Bills will continue to lose. I don't even think new ownership would help. Probably the only logical end game for all of this is the Bills relocating.
  21. I used to really like them back in the day. A few of their songs are still on my Ipod rotation. Life is **** is my favorite. Some of their stuff doesn't hold up, but they were always a fun band to see in concert.
