  1. I've been to several NFL stadiums in my time. There's nothing wrong with the Ralph. Maybe they were talking about the facilities on the interior of the stadium that the average fan never gets to see.
  2. Well then fire the scouting department and keep shooting until you hit the target. What some of you don't seem to understand is everything on offense and defense begins with the lines.
  3. Just say "no" to a QB in round 1. I don't care who it is. Both lines have been neglected for far too long. A new QB won't fix that.
  4. Exactly. I never thought I'd be happy to have Dave Wannstedt around, but I think he'd be a great asset to the team and really hope he comes on board.
  5. Well played. I think it was the Downhill team.
  6. Oh I really do hope that happens. That would mean either Fairley or Dareus would be available to the Bills. Which of course would mean they're likely to pick someone completely different, but one can hope.
  7. I'm not saying this refutes all of your points, I'm just curious. Did you watch the Oregon game the other night?
  8. I watched a good portion of all four games. Probably watched two of them from start to finish.
  9. What I don't understand about Newton is why are so many people on his bandwagon. To me he's behind where Tebow was last year and many had Tebow being no more than a third rounder.
  10. What is the obsession on this board with "character" guys? Year after year everyone on here seems to want to bring in players that they can read feel good stories about instead of win football games. As someone else pointed out Newton is far from a "character" guy. I think he also proved last night that he's not a "franchise quarterback" guy either. Just say no to Cam Newton, the guy has disaster written all over him.
  11. Never mind, I didn't read your initial post closely enough. Playoff teams being the key.
  12. No, this way he gets the best of both worlds. He gets to root for another team and if the Bengals ever get good again I guarantee he'll be the first in line to jump back on the bandwagon.
  13. Harbaugh leaving has to at least sway him towards declaring a little bit. Too bad it won't matter because Fairley would be gone at two even in the scenario with Luck coming out for the draft.
  14. Exactly my thoughts. The big loser tonight was Cam Newton. His performance cost him a lot of money.
  15. I could be totally wrong in my impression, but I get the impression Caldwell is just a place holder. He doesn't seem to bring anything to the table, but I don't know because I don't follow the Colts closely enough to have a real opinion.
  16. If one thing should be evident from this weekend's playoff games it's that a franchise QB is NOT the key piece to the puzzle. You need to become bullies on both sides of the ball and THEN you go take care of your skill positions. Watching the games this weekend one thing that stood out to me is how anemic the Bills look when compared to linemen and LBs on these playoff teams. Draft the line early and often and upgrade the heck out of the strength and conditioning program because what the Bills are doing in that regard simply is not working.
  17. Look, just give it up. We are NOT getting Luck. No matter what. Just not going to happen. The only way the Bills will get Luck is to go out and lose enough games next year.
  18. Because he's a Penn State guy with a Polish last name. You do the Math. Personally I don't see why the Bills can't bring them both back, but who knows if they will?
  19. Exactly. Makes me wonder who has had the Bills' ear in seasons past. "You don't want Ngata, he's a big fat guy. You want my boy Whitner. He's going to be Ronnie Lott. If you don't pick him you'll be the guy that passed on the next Ronnie Lott."
  20. I'm pretty sure that happens all the time. There really wouldn't be any practical way to regulate that, so I'm sure the NFL doesn't love it, but can't do anything about it. Besides, the smart GM wouldn't listen to a word an agent says.
  21. Marv is that you? If Fairley is there, and at this point it's a big if you take him and laugh. He is going to be a big mean physical lineman in this league and he's the kind of player you want playing for your team. You mentioned Wilfork. Believe me, if he were a Bill, you'd love him. If Fairley isn't there I'm kind of with you that the others don't really excite me. I'd maybe move down a few spots if it's possible and pick up one of those guys or Carimi.
  22. I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Not everything you see on the Internet is real.
