I don't have a problem with some trepidation over Fairley, but don't let it be because he made a statement about not wanting to play in the cold weather.

I don't care what anyone says, when I look at Miller on the field he looks like a safety. He just looks small. He is on the small side for an NFL LB. Of course he can put on size, but they said the same thing about Maybin. Maybe I'm just gun shy. If you want to take the debate a step further take a look at some videos: First is a highlight video. I'll save you some time and fast forward to 1 minute in. The first minute is just him dancing and hooting it up. Looks freakishly fast doesn't he? My problem is he seems to have one pass rush move and I don't think it will work against NFL LTs. At least give me this much. Looking at that video the guy looks undersized. Now let's look at some game video. What I see is that the guy will make a play from time to time, but is undersized with one pass rushing move puts himself out of position and is a liability against the run. I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on the kid with the second round pick, but not with three overall. That just doesn't make sense to me.

Time will tell. Miller is an undersized one move pass rusher who is suspect against the run and is going to disappear in the NFL.

Good to see in print what I've been feeling about this crop of QBs all along. They're simply not that good and not worth using a #3 pick. Just because the Bills need a QB doesn't mean they should take one at 3.

That's exactly how I feel about it. I think the Bills become a better team by taking a position other than QB.

Who would you put on instead? I won't be wasting my time voting on this. It's ultimately pointless because no matter how many millions of votes Johnson gets there is no way in hell EA will put Steve Johnson on the cover of Madden '12. Just not going to happen, so there's not point in playing along with their little promotion.

You do understand that there were only two other teams that finished worse than the Bills last year. I don't think it's a stretch to believe that they may finish next season as the worst team in the NFL. I want to be optimistic and believe it won't happen, but when you're drafting third it's not much of a fall until you're drafting first.

And if the pick is Miller? Newton is a nightmare scenario pick in my mind, but I guess I trust Gailey and his staff to know more than me about it.

I'd be fine with him or Ponder. I don't like the "top" QBs in this draft.

That's his point, if the rest of your team is good enough you don't need a Peyton Manning level QB to win the Super Bowl.

Based on the team he had around him the fact that he wasn't dead last in everything probably means he's probably at least dead average. You're right, it's been a long time since we've seen anything that approaches competency at QB. I think the next step is to improve the rest of the team and see what happens, not start over with a different QB.

I agree. Spend the picks making the rest of the team better (mainly the lines) and you'll see that Fitzpatrick is a fine QB.
