    One of my best friends is getting married for the first time. We are going to Philadelphia for a comic book convention followed by a night at a strip club. How awesome is that? nd, the whitewater rafting thing sounds like an awesome time. Couple that with a stripper (come on that's just a must) and it sounds like a solid weekend.

    I think the optimism is well-founded. The Bills were playing good last year before injuries decimated the roster. Couple that with an upgraded defense, DC, a solid draft, and a more fovorable schedule on paper and I don't see how anyone wouldn't be just a little bit reassured that the Bills are on the right track.

    Well I guess if you throw out all of the times he's been a good DC in the NFL, then I guess you're right. There is no evidence.

    Where? Why does this upset some of you guys so much? Who cares where the player comes from? Appealing to the fan base based on Geography, in my opinion, got us picks like Maybin.

    Would you prefer he was a starter at some also-ran school instead of a solid contributor on one of the top teams in the nation behind two of the best CBs in college football? He wasn't drafted to be a day one starter; he was drafted for depth, his speed, and the potential in what he can become.

    I think picking Bradham puts a nail in the coffin of any discussion of the Bills taking Burfict.

    That's an interesting theory. I suppose we will never know the truth, but the tin foil hat wearer in me suspects that you are on to something with that.

    I'm on board. I don't know why some people are so upset about this draft. It's not flashy, but I feel like the Bills added two immediate starters and a potential deep threat.

    When does he get his first paycheck? My money would be on that weekend.

    I would love to see thy happen. Add Randle into that mix. I wouldn't care what would happen with the rest of the draft at that point if they got one of those three.

    That seems like cherry picking a stat, but I'll bite. How many was the previous record?

    Everyone is making a big deal about how the new CBA ignited a firestorm of trade activity. I've been watching the draft since the 90s and there didn't seem to be noticeably more trades than any other year.

    Boy if you thought grading a team's 7 round draft was a complete waste of time, grading after one round brings that to a whole new level.

    I'm not a big fan of drafting DBs in the first round, but it was a need position. I would be fine with any of the players named in this thread. I'm excited about the second pick.

    Out of that sorry group I'd only take Flacco over Fitzpatrick and I don't think Flacco would have done anything with this team that Fitzpatrick hasn't.
