  1. I think Ralph is definitely a big part of the problem. Mainly by the thrifty way that he has run the organization. He has shown a willingness to dive into big ticket free agents when they are needed, but I get the impression that funding that is needed to run a top flight organization has been missing for years. The problem that the Bills face is they've made their coaching situation so unappealing that they can't even get any top candidates in there to turn the ship around. At this point the only hope is that you hit the lottery on a young up and comer that is eager to make a name.
  2. That is pretty ridiculous. They're only two games behind NE. I'm not saying its likely, but if they were to win they'd be right back in the hunt for the division.
  3. I'd rather they just go on an awesome win streak and make the playoffs. I know it's unlikely, but at some point maybe the best thing for this team is to finally start learning how to win.
  4. Make sure you hit Bourbon Street for their Thanksgiving spread if you don't already.
  5. I'm sold. How soon can Ralph get a Uhaul booked?
  6. I need a low scoring game. Or should I say I need Thomas to score less than 30 pts so that I can pull out a fantasy football win.
  7. I'm not so sure of that. I just have never heard of such a technique. I'm still waiting for her to show me a recipe where it calls for everything to be dumped out and the pot cleaned.
  8. So being trapped inside with the rain today I decided a good chicken noodle soup would be a good project to have going during the day. The wife and I got it started this morning and things were going just fine. I started making meatballs to save for the rest of the week. While my back is turned my wife dumps all of the stock into plastic bowls and cleans the pot with soap. When I finally saw what she was up to I hit the ceiling. She explained that the pot was dirty and she wanted to clean it before finishing the soup. I responded "When have you ever seen a recipe for ANYTHING where it says take everything out of your cooking vessel and clean it with soap?!?! Why not just stop in the middle of a meal and clean your plate?" I had to walk away before my head exploded.
  9. I don't understand why any successful college coach would give that up to take a shot at the NFL.
  10. It's been a fun season to watch. I don't think they'll beat Oklahoma, but that's OK. If they beat USC and keep it to one or two losses the season is a great success.
  11. While it would be great for Buffalo to win the Stanley Cup it isn't even close to the Lombardi Trophy. I haven't followed hockey close enough in the past ten years to have an intelligent opinion about the Sabres chances. Since they're my favorite hockey team I'm going to go with they will bitterly disappoint this year.
  12. The guys on here love him because he wanted to wear a tie on the sideline.
  13. Apparently not, but with stricter environmental laws and global climate change you never know. A guy can dream cant he?
  14. Waterfront property for 93k? I guess I know where to shop for a vacation home.
  15. In Texas I figured that'd earn him points for only having 10 anti-government bumper stickers.
  16. Either him or Wannstedt or both. This defense wasnt THIS bad last year. They're the only things that have changed.
  17. The problem is that our desperate need for a QB doesn't make Matt Barkley a better QB. I don't think he's on the level of an Andrew Luck or RG III.
  18. Doesn't sound like BS at all to me. I wrote the script to the Bills' demise in my head as soon as that decision was made.
  19. Oh he had his part in this loss. The defense played limp-writer, but Fitzpatrick did his part to move the game into the loss column.
  20. Usually when I say that I prefer something I have a basis for comparison, but carry on. Since you mentioned The Phillipines I'll tell you my favorite Phillipines story. When I lived in Thailand I had a couple of Norwegian friends. One of them lived a really wild life and could best be described as the Norwegian Kramer. His Dad lived in The Phillipines and Norwegian Kramer decides to go over for a visit. His Dad promises to pick him up at the Airport. So naturally he gets to the Phillipines and Dad doesn't show up. Because he never plans ahead, he doesn't have his Dad's address or phone number just his email. He decides the best course of action is to head to the beach and start drinking. So he drinks the rest of the night and sleeps on the beach. In the morning he drags himself off the sand and heads back to the bars. He goes into the first place he sees and who does he find inside the bar? His Dad still going from the night before.
  21. Went to see Looper today. Fantastic movie. I highly recommend it to almost anyone. I also saw Sinister today. I've been wanting to see both for a while now and finally had the chance today. While it is not as high of a recommendation as Looper, it was a solid movie too. Better than your average Horror movie. If you have seen the trailer and it looks like a movie you'd like I'd suspect you'd like it.
