  1. "Hey uh Washington this is uh Buddy Nix. Do you want RG3? Because I don't know if you heard, but Ryan Fitzpatrick made the Pro Bowl. That's right. Brady, Manning, Roethlisberger, Dalton, Schaub, Palmer, Locker, Rivers, Flacco, and even Tebow all turned it down, but Fitzpatrick went and played."
  2. In in the same boat. Doing a movie starring Will Smith and his son isn't doing much to convince me either.
  3. I let him choose too, we live in Virginia. He chose the Bills. He's more die hard about watching the games than I am, but even this week wore a little thin on him. He kept saying "Another Field Goal?!?! Why won't they just run the ball?"
  4. It's pretty frustrating when my nine year old keeps asking me why Gailey doesn't let Spiller run the ball more. What's most frustrating is to not have a good answer for him.
  5. I'm going to let you all in on a dirty little secret that the NFL won't want anyone to know. Hell, they probably won't admit it to themselves. There aren't too many markets out there that the NFL can go to, set up shop, and be guaranteed success. The NFL has a market with an established fanbase in Buffalo. I don't think that's something that they're just willing to throw out despite some of the cons that the franchise currently has going for it.
  6. I'd actually rather have Sanchez to tell you the truth. Vick is done. The dog fighting thing is icing on the cake. He should have come here in the first place and we probably would have ended the playoff drought. Goodell had other plans.
  7. Urlacher is a great player and would be a great leader to have on the team, but you don't break the bank to pay an aging LB if you want to be a contender.
  8. Here's the problem, if he could throw the ball more than ten yards down the field he'd have 40.
  9. How much money do you imagine he's going to cost? The franchise number on a safety is only like 6.5 million. I'd sign him to a contract that averaged 6.5 mil a year and consider it a great step forward.
  10. And just like Fitz you have people on here rushing in to make excuses for him. It's uncanny.
  11. And what? Draft a safety in the first round this year? Why not stop drilling holes in the boat and bail some of the water out? The Bills are year after year nowhere near the cap. I think they'll be fine. Unless you're worried about Ralph taking a few more schekels into the next life.
  12. I'd much rather they win out, but as someone else pointed out it doesn't do the. Much good to win three or four more games this season. It's all or nothing at this point.
  13. The worst thing about it is take the Tenn. and Indy games and turn those into wins and it becomes a really strong possibility. Those games hurt so damn much because they both were so winnable.
  14. The more disastrous outcome to me is the Bills light up the Jags and the false optimism gains more life and the Bills lose draft position.
  15. Was the guy being an unbelievable A-hole? Yes. Should he have gone to jail for it? I'm not so sure about that.
  16. Until Gilmore's contract runs out, the Bills don't sign him to a new one, and burn ANOTHER 1st round draft pick on CB.
  17. They played a bad game, but aren't a bad unit and have been a strength this season.
  18. The frustrating thing to me is that I really believe this team is a better team than they have been in many years. Maybe I'm delusional, but it just makes it more frustrating and makes me think that with a real coaching staff this team could finally get over the hump.
  19. Ugh, terrible news for my fantasy football team. It was really coming together for me too.
  20. I really have no idea why they go to that as often as they do on third and short. Makes me groan every time I see it.
  21. You mean to tell me that New England is a better team than Miami? That's shocking insight.
  22. What do you mean no zombies? This game is filthy with zombies. Three modes this time.
