  1. I know people in Western New York just call them chicken wings and often I do the same, but I wouldn't be so quick to throw out the association. It's nice to have something that has become so widespread be associated with my hometown.
  2. Has anyone eaten at East Coast Wings and Grill? Seems like an odd one to include in the list. Seems like Buffalo Wild Wings. It has the location closest to me. Anyone that's down in SE VA like I am that hasn't tried Dirty Buffalo should give it a try. Best I've had down here.
  3. Oh man, I LOVE venison, but I've never been hunting. It takes place too early for me.
  4. Me neither. I fully support someone that hunts for food. But I don't understand the mentality that kills animals simply to have something to post on facebook and a trophy for your wall.
  5. I sure hope so. I'd like to see this group have a chance to come together and see what they can develop into. I'm sure eventually there's a strong possibility that he will leave, but hopefully he puts a few years in Buffalo first.
  6. The current coach at my old high school 99% follows this philosophy. He also almost always goes for two points. They average 50 pts a game and are in the state finals with an undefeated record.
  7. I like it but the only thing I would change is I'd swap the blue and red colors on the football. The blue on the ball blends with the buffalo too much.
  8. I've got a buddy that's an instructor at Johnson and Wales in Charlotte. His brother lives on the Outer Banks, so he might be into doing it. Want me to ask?
  9. What else am I going to do. I have found myself less into football than I used to be. When the Bills lose I just have to avoid all football highlights and talk for several days. So as you can tell I've been pretty detached from football. If it wasn't for fantasy football I'd probably wouldn't even bother watching any football. Only in a fantasy is my team competitive.
  10. If EJ's not the guy I hope this regime has the balls to pull the trigger on another first round QB next year. One thing that I've been convinced of is without a QB, nothing else matters.
  11. I'm going no on this one. She looks pretty methed out.
  12. A good coach plays to the strength of his team. With Roethlisgerger chucking the ball it would finally loosen up the defense enough to get CJ to the next level. It's all pointless conjecture. Chances are he goes nowhere and I doubt he'd come to Buffalo.
  13. I'd give them whatever they wanted for him. This team is a playoff team with him at QB.
  14. That's not the same thing as knowing Asians. Hell, I guess I could make the claim that I've done business with them since I've owned an Iphone for the past four years. The point is you seem to put Asians on a pedestal because of their ability to get their countrymen to work for pennies. It doesn't make them any more noble, just more desperate. As far as your assertion that somehow signing up to receive money collected in a settlement that I'm legally entitled to is somehow greedy and damaging to the national character. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree because EA was the one that did something wrong and agreed to take the slap on the wrist. All I did was honestly answer an online questionnaire about how many of their products I bought. If you want to save a multi-billion dollar corporation a few dollars then feel free, but the rest of us would appreciate it if you toned down the hyperbole.
  15. I find the people most likely to steal that 20 bucks are the ones that claim everyone else would do the same. And as far as Asia goes, have you ever been? I wouldn't trust my 20 bucks anywhere except Japan.
  16. 96.21 got the check today. Thanks to Just Jack for posting the original thread and giving me a little extra pocket money. As far as those that act like there's something wrong with filing for the settlement remember one key point, EA settled the lawsuit out of court. Now whether or not there was a valid case EA voluntarily chose to not bring it to trial. I'm sure there was some validity to the claims against them. But it doesn't matter because I have been a loyal customer of theirs for 24 years. If they decided that indeed I paid too much due to their anti-competitive practices, damn right I'm going to sign up to get my check.
  17. Do you think it's an accident that it looks like he has a gigantic blue third leg?
  18. Or a TE. I'd love to get another WR and a legit TE to see what EJ could do with those. I think you're way off base. EJ looked good up until the injury. Lewis did an admirable job given the circumstances, but nowhere near as good as EJ.
  19. A big help with this would be getting out of the damn shotgun in that situation.
  20. The New York Jets are 5-4. Geno Smith is a rookie QB that struggles greatly at times. If you gave me a chance today to straight up trade EJ for Geno I wouldn't do it.
  21. In his case I would have prescribed a guy that just followed him around and drove him all day rather than an on-call sort of guy.
  22. I wonder if the driver option has been explored. Seems like a natural solution. I'd be all for the Bills making a run at this guy. His price should be super cheap and he would give EJ the best receiving corps in the league to work with next season.
  23. Those crepes look amazing. Next time I'm in Richmond (Nov. 23rd) I'm going to try to find them.
  24. If you like Thai food, Thai Flavor is excellent. If you're a shooting enthusiast Colonial Shooting Academy is worth a trip. I know both of those things cost money, so I'll second the suggestion of Maymont Park.
