On that play what happened is he would have normally scrambled and probably picked up big yardage, however, in the scrimmage it would have been blown dead like one of his previous scrambles. So he did the only thing he could do and tried to hook up with his receiver. I don't find fault in him for this play at all because his first instinct was the correct one. Overall I think you're being incredibly hard on Losman saying he looked terrible. I thought he looked calm and collected in the pocket and looked like he avoided pressure with ease (yes I know it was just a scrimmage). If anything I was muct more positive after seeing last night's scrimmage than I was previous. I think Losman just might be a legitimate QB. Of course only time will tell.

That's the best idea so far. Have his name right below his Father's. That'd be a real classy gesture.

I like the idea of a memorial somewhere in the stadium complex. As far as naming the stadium, how about for the opening game naming it Hunter's Hope stadium in order to raise awareness of the organization.

I don't think signing Simon would necessarily mean Clements will be shown the door. It's possible that it would even help in getting him signed. If the Bills can build a dominant defense and start showing some promise on offense Clements might decide it's too good of an opportunity for him to stick around to pass up. He might even take a little less money to keep a good thing rolling. Having said that I don't see this Simon trade happening.

This was mentioned around draft time. Henry for Simon. Basically if the Eagles had any interest in it I'm sure it would have been done. I don't see why they'd want Henry when they'll get Westbrook's contract straightened out eventually.

While I appreciate wanting to have players that are not only good players, but upstanding citizens I think the character issue gets a little too much play around here. I just want to win at this point. If it means bringing in a few unsavory characters that can flat out play then I for one am all for it. Having said that I don't think this Simon thing will ever happen. Just doesn't seem like a TD thing to do.

It's thinking like that that let the D.C. sniper run around for so long. Profiling will only work for so long. I know it's pointless to mention individual gripes about Madden, but I really wish there were a way to simulate the rest of the game from a given point. I really hate it when I'm playing in franchise mode and I'm up by like 40 pts. and I still have to sit there and play the game out. On topic though I'll pick up Madden 06. I've gotten practically every one since 92, so I don't see any reason to stop now. Some might call me foolish, but I actually do the hell out of each year's version.

I'd say his talent was worthy of more than a 6th rounder. However, his salary wasn't exactly cap friendly.

Not to be the defender of this movie, but isn't THIS a confederate flag on top of the General Lee? Everyone on IMDB is all up in arms because the flag IS there and you guys are upset because it's NOT there. I guess the only thing to do is watch the movie and find out which it is.

Exactly. But my post was based on his original premise that they had "ruined it." I mean what the hell are we really talking about here? We're talking about a movie based on an 80s primetime television show about a couple of rednecks. I don't think there's much ruining going on here. Let's not forget all this was started by a guy known as Cooter shooting his mouth off. Probably because he was broken hearted that he couldn't get a part in the movie.

Look I'm not really looking forward to this movie, but at least give it the courtesy of having seen it before you make pronouncements about it.
