My son is about to turn 12. I tried to get him interested in lacrosse, but no dice. When I was in high school only a very few private schools just started playing. Now there are youth clubs and even most public schools have a team. So it's been interesting to watch the sport grow down here. Maybe my grandson will play
Not really. He has a three year guaranteed deal, can take his time and ease into a starting role, and get the big payday down the road. It sucks, but I get it. I wonder if the Bills offered a fully guaranteed deal.
Every negative thought I've had with this draft would be erased in my mind if somehow Whaley can get this guy into the fold and get him to play. That's of course assuming he didn't have anything to do with this murder, which I highly doubt.
I think Denver got a great player. I was hoping he'd slide to the Bills pick honestly. Giving up 5th round picks to me isn't anything. Giving up Ramirez I'd have more of a problem with, but I don't know enough about Denver's roster to know how big of a deal that is. Who knows, maybe they were planning on cutting him.
I get that approach. Just not sure if multiple TEs is the best use of resources given the desperate need to improve on the offensive line. I'm not saying it wouldn't be great and given Roman's reported love of multiple TE sets it would seem like a likely direction. I suspect all of the speculation won't matter as I bet he'll be picked in the first ten picks of the second round.
Well he's definitely got the right last name. And his name basically is Max Bills. I'm just not sure if getting another TE after they spent a bunch of money on Clay is the way to go.
I say roll the dice and hope for the best. It's the kind of pick that could finally make everyone shut up about the Watkins trade. If the Bills walk away with a legit starter at G or RT it is a huge win. I think Clins is the best bet for that to happen.
I used to love Draft Saturday so much. We basically celebrated it just how you describe. We would stock up and then show up at whomever's house then proceed to grill, drink, and bull **** the entire day. Such great memories.
Anyone else slightly disappointed by this season? It's not that it was bad, but it really felt disjointed and rambling to me. As opposed to the first two seasons I never really felt Ragnar faced real adversity.
