  1. Would it be in poor taste to suggest staying out of the clubs?
  2. Because you can't learn anything from watching someone that has a similar style to yours even if you're not at the same experience level. Try to think a bit before you try to jump down someone's sh--.
  3. I'd like the coaching staff to take a look at some film from the Bills offense when Flutie was successful. To me that's the style of offense that JP can be successful in and right now he's a square peg that they're trying to fit into a round hole.
  4. That's why I think in the present NFL it's not always wise to draft your QB of the future. There's too much growing time involved and too much money invested in a high draft pick. Sometimes it works out (McNabb, Manning, etc.), but when it doesn't it has disasterous results.
  5. Well whether you're right or not thanks for sharing the info. I sincerely hope that you are right about this.
  6. Definately getting Sirius just as soon as I can figure out what rig is best for me. Going to Best Buy and Circuit City and asking questions is about as productive as banging your head against the wall. As far as Stern goes I'm a huge Stern fan. But I was thinking about getting Sirius even before he announced he was going there. There's a lot of good programming on there. Has anyone heard Jim Breuer's show? That's some funny stuff.
  7. Oh come on Monty wasn't THAT bad. The finisher sucked, but I wouldn't say it's any worse than let's say the People's Elbow.
  8. I haven't checked it out in a few days, but how the hell did LSU catch up? They were getting slaughtered in the early going. Sympathy vote for Katrina?
  9. How's that? I mean I'm not saying TNA is anything great, but it was the first time in a while I was interested in watching wrestling on TV in a while. I didn't see the Raw homecoming, but I'd be willing to bet there were more matches on TNA in one hour than there were on Raw in 3 hours.
  10. Did anyone check out the premier of TNA wrestling this past Sat. on Spike? I thought it was pretty good. It was nice to see wrestling on TV again since I've given up on the WWE.
  11. Man I would LOVE IT if you were right about this. What a way to get people excited about the new season.
  12. I'd trade down since the Bills needs are on both lines rather than at the skill positions. Given that each of those players would be highly coveted a lot could be gained by trading out of the spot.
  13. Since you know him so well and know what jobs he would and wouldn't take could you tell him I said hello and hope that he beats USC next weekend. Not trying to be an ass, but just remember that we only get part of the story.
  14. There's nothing that I have seen that indicates that either of the two coaches you mentioned would have taken the Bills job. Sometimes you have to go with what you can get instead of chasing pipe dreams. Weis left New England for his dream job and Lewis turned off the Bills becuse of his lackluster interest in the job.
  15. So what should happen in the offseason to get this team back in contention? Don't just say fire TD. Tell me someone the BIlls can hire that will do a better job. I'm really sick to my stomach about this right now. This is the year the Bills should have been able to kick ass in the AFC East, NE is down, Jets down, Miami far from a powerhouse, instead we might not win 6 games. Who is to blame and what can be done?
  16. 1. The video game industry has a pretty effective ratings system. Take five minutes and learn about it and then only allow your child to purchase games that you deem appropriate based on the ratings system. 2. Monitor how much your kid is playing video games. Like anything else, including doing homework, there is such a thing as too much. Of course this requires that the parent take an active role in their child's life. /problem solved
  17. Yeah he played all 11 positions in that game. Pretty amazing when you think about it.
  18. If you don't watch the show why would you waste your time reading this thread? Just something that I've noticed about people on the Internet. Nothing gives certain people more pleasure than to talk negatively about something other people enjoy. As to the validity of the revelations in the post they sound way too amateurish to me to be true. I highly doubt it's true, but what the hell do I know?
  19. Not really much of a choice there. On the one hand you have glory which is cruelly snatched away and on the other hand you have eternal torment. Personally I think I'd rather have the Super Bowl. I can't die without seeing the Bills win a Super Bowl.
  20. First of all I think Desmond's accent is Scottish. Unless I was drunk while I was watching the first ep. Secondly unless I'm drunk right now and can't remember correctly they've already shown the father of Claire's baby.
  21. One positive that sticks out at me in Losman's first three starts is that he may have a horrible completion percentage, but he also hasn't turned the ball over.
  22. Why would you place the blame on Losman's shoulders? He isn't the problem. The problem with the Bills is we are inadequate on the line on both sides of the field. In the NFL skill positions get all the attention, but line play wins games. End of story.
