Up until this point I actually LIKED Leinart. Man, what a douchebag.

Anyone that backs expansion on a major level should take a look at NFL Europe. That's some bad football on a regular basis and those players would be the players that would end up making NFL rosters in an expanded league. Not good news.

Maybe I'm being too sensitive, but I really don't remember a year where I've heard more schitt talked about a team's draft than the Bills and this year's draft. I don't get it. So you disagree, time will tell, move on.

Have you actually SEEN this guy? He's a big fat guy that plays too upright and stiff and will probably be one of those career weight problem guys.

They were reporting this on draft day. I knew it was too good to be true that they wanted Bush, but I was hoping.

See that's the trick to Kiper. He doesn't predict what teams are going to do he predicts what teams SHOULD do based on his assessments. All his lists are just top 10 this or that for players in the draft. And he revises them plenty.

That was in the CFL.

bull sh--. I think it was pretty plain for anyone to see that there was a good chance that the Raiders were going to take Huff. And how's this for a prediction, I think Whitner is going to be a better pro than Huff. Look at film of Huff, every tackle he makes is around the shoulders. That won't fly in the NFL.

Shhhhh! You're not supposed to bring up past draft grades. The sole purpose of these things is to show how teams did this year according to one guy that gets paid to make stuff up.

Relax we still have another pick in the third round where we finally can address the offensive line......um nevermind. Seriously though I friggin give up at this point. If they had taken an offensive lineman at this point the whole day might have made some sense, but I guess with the Texans taking the best two that were left off the board that it was back to the old Best Player Available. Look at the bright side our secondary can car pool to homecoming together.

Friggin Texans! Spencer and Winston back to back. I would have been happy with either.

I friggin HATE draft grades. Completely inconsequential.

But look at it from another perspective. Instead of playing for a team with NOTHING (SF) he gets to play for a team with a lot of talent on offense and a new stadium.

Remember when people were pissed that the Bills didn't take him?

I really hate days like this when guys with no posts show up to talk bull sh--. McCargo was a rising player in this draft and is a solid pick at a need position. I might have preferred offensive line, but it's flat wrong to say he would have been there when the Bills drafted in the 2nd round.

So I guess the plan is to let the Sabres wear themselves out by scoring goals.

I'm really back and forth about whom I want the Bills to draft, but Huff and TKO on the field together would be sick. Not that the two positions really have anything to do with each other, but the prospect of having talent like that on the defense is impressive.

The worst Bills moment in the draft that I can remember is when they took John Fina in the first round. Seemed to come out of nowhere. He went on to have a decent career, but I still think it was an odd pick.

Nothing personal, but I'm really beginning to hate that phrase "poison pill."

First of all I am for gay marriage and find it ridiculous to expose children that age to a discussion of homosexuality. It's a parent's job at that point. The second story is a case of a teacher with good intentions not thinking through the situation clearly. The abortion issue is one that is constantly being discussed in our country and as such it IS an issue of interest for government/social studies/civics classes, but it is not age appropriate. 4th grade students are not sophisticated enough in their understanding of the world to form any kind of mature debate on the issue. Unless of course the exercise was simply meant to be a "rah-rah abortion is bad" dialog. In which case I'm sure mission accomplished.

But a buddy of mine, another 49ers fan, sees it differently. He thinks this is a sure sign the 49ers are going to trade out of #6. There was a rumor going around about Dallas wanting to trade up and get Huff last week so maybe Dallas trades up into #6, 49ers now have two first round picks and regain a 2nd & 3rd. And Davis is sitting there for Buffalo at #8. Of course it's all speculation at this point, but it's fun to wonder.

I'd HATE to go to a Bills game on Thanksgiving. Too much good stuff going on that day to waste the day at a game.

bull sh-- holiday or not I think it's a great time of year for a holiday. Most people don't get a day for Easter so it's nice to have a day like this off when the weather is starting to get nice after the long winter. I don't think we take enough holidays in this country and I wish it were like it was when I was a kid and EVERYTHING would be closed. Seems like people use holidays these days simply as an excuse to go to Wal-Mart all day.
