Here's the problem with that. The Sabres are playing the games under the current rules. Had it been under the old rules where they would have ended the game in a tie perhaps they would have fought a little harder to get that last goal. But because that leads to the world of make believe. You can't punish the Sabres for the fact that the NHL has devised a new way to win games. The Penguins in 92-93 had 17 in a row.

Bills currently picking 10th

The NFL is expanding to 85 teams? -
Is it me, or is Robert Royal becoming a fan fav?
Dr. Fong replied to marauderswr80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. There's absolutely nothing innovative about it. Just a collection of stuff that has been around the Internet for ages and packaged so people that can't be bothered to learn how to do those things can message how l33t they are to their friends. -
You end up paying for it one way or another.

I don't have a 360 yet or a PC that has the cajones to handle the job. I'd love to play it though. Right up my alley.

I learned the most amazing thing about Lost.
Dr. Fong replied to Helmet_hair's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Really? I love the premise and have watched all the episodes hoping it will get better, but it's just so damn hokey and looks so sound stage. -
One of many games out right now that I really want. The three that stand out are this, Bully, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

Who would you rather have over Losman?
Dr. Fong replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess maybe Leinart or Cutler, but the fair question to that is who would you rather have either of those two players or Losman and Whitner. Personally I'm going with fix the offensive line and then we'll see. -
Yeah I agree. It's one thing to excercise your right to free speech here to criticize your country. But in other countries they're being fed so much anti-American crap as it is that we need to put a good face on internationally. Kind of like "Don't argue in front of the neighbors" sort of thing.

My favorite albums from the last 10 years
Dr. Fong replied to Cugalabanza's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Well that's you. If you don't like ska you won't like it. I'm telling you though even though they were an opening band it was one of the coolest shows I've ever seen. But you know what opinions are like. -
Hope you have a good time bro. Don't be discouraged by the fact that the majority of the people around you are going to be really down on the Bills. Wish you'd had a chance to see them in the 90s. That was magic.

My favorite albums from the last 10 years
Dr. Fong replied to Cugalabanza's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I like that band. I hope the demos that leaked for their upcoming album were REALLY rough. Because I thought they sucked. My favorite band that nobody knows is Kemuri. They're a Japanese Ska band that I saw in concert about 10 years ago (man time passes quick). They just put on a kickass set like few I've ever seen. Their best album is Little Playmate -
I grow tired of people trying to blame the QB
Dr. Fong replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A good example of what you're talking about with the line play was Saturday's game between Notre Dame and UCLA. All day UCLA was in Quinn's face and made their offensive line look pathetic. Then on the final drive the line seemed to have woken up and Quinn had all friggin day back there. I haven't seen an effort from the Bills line all season. The only time the Bills offense has had any success is with quick hitters. -
Joke my 3 yr. old daughter is telling everyone!

Here's my three year old's repertoire: Why did the cookie go to the doctor? He was feeling crummy. Knock Knock Who's there? Cow Cow Who? No owls who cows moo. What happened when the dog went to the flea circus? He stole the show. Why did the chewing gum cross the road? It was stuck to the bottom of the chicken's shoe. -
Seems that all we are is pissed on these days.

(Bills @ Lions) Official game thread

Great job defense. Man sometimes I wonder why I care. -
I wasn't really watching it. I had it Tivo'd and kind of skipped through a lot of the scenes until the SHOCKING end.

I wanted to beat his character to death even BEFORE his character was revealed as the bad guy at the end.
-
Kind of felt that way too. The only reason the interception happened was because Reed didn't get in the end zone on the big pass play previous.
-
My brother and I were at that game. Man was that a long drive home.

Anyone know any good sports betting websites?
Dr. Fong replied to IBTG81's topic in Off the Wall Archives
www.betus.com has the game being a pick em. I just can't understand how this is possible. I will say that I haven't SEEN Navy this season, but I've seen Rutgers and they look good. Navy has a good record this year, but if you want to say Rutgers hasn't beaten anyone impressive I think you should look at Navy's record. Beating UMass, UConn, and losing to Tulsa doesn't impress me. I'm not saying Rutgers is going to win this, frankly the line scares me that someone knows something I don't, but on the surface of things this looks like free money to me. -
"The Departed" , a Martin Scorcese picture
Dr. Fong replied to ACor58's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Maybe it's just me, but I really hate this trend of remaking old movies or taking foreign movies with American actors. The only reason I pointed out how pitiful the top 5 was is the fact that it continuously makes me sick. I agree with what you're saying that remakes will continue to thrive as long as they make money and that's why I DON'T support them. -

Dr. Fong replied to ACor58's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Hollywood acts like piracy is to blame for their lack of success at the box office. I submit that a complete lack of originality is to blame. The Departed might be a great movie, but I won't go see it because I refuse to reward this kind of lazy filmmaking. Just look at the top 5 this week and anyone that has any doubt movies suck these days shouldn't: 1. The Departed - Remake of a Chinese movie. Drop the xenophobia and just check out the original series of movies which this is based on. 2. Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning - A prequel to a remake that is essentially just the same movie over and over again. 3. Open Season - Kids movie. Isn't it funny when you hear people complain that there aren't any family movies anymore. Seems like there's a new marketing machine every other week. 4. Employee of the Month - Jessica Simpson + Dane Cook = Retard heaven. 5. The Guardian - An Officer and a Gentleman/Top Gun/Men of Honor clone. And if that thought wasn't unappealing enough it has Ashton Kutcher in it.
