  1. They had the #7 pick, traded down a few spaces, picked up a guy that was slotted to be right where they picked, maybe even a bit of a reach. I just don't see how that's praise worthy. A middle-schooler with a PFW and a draft trade chart could have accomplished that. Not saying they did bad or anything, just that I don't see why they should be singled out for praise.
  2. I know it's pointless to even type this, but can someone explain to me what the hell the Patriots did that was so "great." I mean don't get me wrong they're the team to beat and all, but what did they do in the draft that was sooooo damn praise-worthy?
  3. Look I'm not a big fan of drafting LBs high, but even I have to admit that if Connor is there in the 3rd just take him.
  4. I'm going with either Pat Sims or best OT available. Wonder if Dan Connor would slide. I was against drafting LB, but in the third that'd be tempting.
  5. I don't see what the Patriots did to earn an A. They took a player at a need position at the draft position that they were slated to draft. Seems like a C to me. Maybe a B if you wanted to kiss their ass a little.
  6. Doucet is a nice player and all, but I'd really like to see OL in the third. It'll be interesting to see who is there.
  7. Because he's a good player. You can find ways to use good players. It kind of reminds me of the whole "Don't take Derrick Harvey because we have Kelsay and Schobel" argument. Just take the best player out there and find a way to get him on the field to contribute.
  8. Redskins jump up and get Thomas. Man I wish the Bills had done something to get him. Oh well.
  9. I'd be willing to bet the team would have BETTER talent at this point.
  10. I guess it's redundant at this point to keep saying it, but I'm really disappointed in this pick. Since Harvey was off the board at that point I would have loved to see them just go offensive line and get better on the OL.
  11. For the first time in ages I was sure what the Bills should/would do. This year is nowhere near as cut and dried in my opinion.
  12. I can't speak for the amphitheater, but at the Norva you'd still pay the fee. Besides they only open the ticket window when there is a show. So you'd have to fight a concert crowd in order to save the money.
  13. Hmmm wings. Sounds like a good plan. I guess I'll have to get the deep fryer warmed up.
  14. WOW this thread is like a breath of fresh air. That article is spot on. Not that you don't need good corners, but a shutdown corner is a luxury pick that you put in place AFTER you have a functioning pass rush and a stout interior. A lot of times what will happen then is those average CBs start looking like shutdown corners suddenly.
  15. I'm simply amazed at people that want the Bills to draft a CB. Or an LB for that matter. Those positions just aren't as important in the NFL enough to burn a #11 pick on. As has been said time and again on this board improve the line and suddenly the CBs will look all the better. LBs can be picked up for a dime a dozen.
  16. The parking fee is a separate fee and you indeed cannot avoid that no matter where you purchase tickets, but if you know somewhere that you can buy tickets and not have to pay Ticketmaster's service fee then I would like to know about it.
  17. What's worse is you can't even avoid the charges by going and picking up the tickets. It's basically just a Ticketmaster monopoly tax.
  18. What a ridiculous notion. I wouldn't mind seeing Johnson in a Bills uniform, but it won't take a first round pick. No way.
