In my opinion the Skins, Pats, Giants, and Raiders are all rated too highly in this. The rest are pretty solid.

Look I'm the first one to call out Wilson for being thrifty, but that wasn't the case in this instance. The guy offered an average of the top 8 salaries in the league. That's a pretty strong offer. If Butler's heart were truly in Buffalo he should have given a bit of a home team discount and accepted the offer.

Yeah that's kind of what I'm talking about. There just isn't that killer instinct and my interest suffers as a result. I've had enough of mediocrity. Even during the Super Bowl years there was just this underlying current of not doing that extra little bit that could have put them over the top. Like finding a new defensive coordinator or bringing in some more DL help. Oh well no point fighting old battles.

Maybe it's that my wellbutrin hasn't fully kicked in, but I just can't help feel bummed out about yet another football season. I used to look forward to it. The past decade has been kick in the face after kick in the face. I know teams go through cycles and you can't win all the time, but it just seems like this team is content to be about 6-10 to 8-8 every year. Just good enough to fill the stands. Somebody convince me that if not this year at least SOME year.

So it's taking McKelvin a little longer to catch on than we would have liked. Look at the bright side at least Corner is showing that he has some potential. Let McKelvin contribute on special teams while he acclimates to the NFL. I'd start worrying if he's looking just as lost next pre-season.

Sounds great in theory, but file it under stuff that will never happen. As much as it depresses me I think the Bills days in Buffalo are numbered.
