  1. Why would you fault them for investigating it? Taylor looks good so far, but he's not under long term contract and he might price himself right out of Buffalo. It never hurts to have a plan B.
  2. Rent a car and drive out to Valley of Fire. I loved my first trip to Vegas last Summer and this was one of my favorite things that I did on the trip. Also, Pinball Museum was very fun.
  3. This draft seems tailored to moving down, which means they will probably move up.
  4. In the event they were to pick Lynch, I'd keep Tyrod. Next year I'd franchise him. So you would have two seasons to decide whether or not Lynch can take the next step.
  5. It may not be a need, but given that Glenn isn't signed long term, it may be a good idea. Personally I'd rather they go for a difference maker on defense. Whether that's a DL or OLB.
  6. I really hate this idea. Taylor signed a three year deal. His reward for outplaying the contract in his first year was the ability to void the third year. I'm sure if they had the cap space and he had the inclination, the Bills would want to lock him up long term. But at this point I don't think his idea of his market value and their's would be close at all.
  7. If Whaley really thought he was the most NFL ready QB and they were interested in taking him do you think he'd let anybody know?
  8. You signed a contract with a voidable year and you voided it. That's your client's reward for playing well. Now play out the year remaining and then see. Either way he's going to get paid. Just not this year.
  9. In all likliehood it will get to 20 plus after Ryan flames out and they give the next guy the three year rebuilding plan, at which time we will probably change back to a 4-3 after spending the previous three seasons drafting talent to fit a 3-4.
  10. I'd have to go with Kelly. As good as the Bruce pick was he wouldn't be anywhere near as well thought of if he hadn't played on those successful 90s teams. And those teams wouldn't have been what they were without a hall of fame QB bringing everything together.
  11. It isn't worth the cap hit to upgrade the backup QB spot. I really thought RG III was a can't miss NFL QB. It's a shame what it's come to. Hopefully he can learn from this and resurrect his career somewhere else.
  12. Unfortunately not. I don't know when our torment will end, but I'm starting to think the streak may reach 20 before its done.
  13. " If Glenn struggles without playing next to an All-Pro next year, his asking price drops." That wouldn't make his price drop, it'd make it almost assured that he'd be gone.
  14. That's way too much for Incognito and not enough for Glenn. Glenn is going to cost in the neighborhood of 12 million per year. Incognito is worth 5. He's probably asking for where you have him valued.
  15. This is a very problematic situation. For continuity sake it's important to keep him. For cap reasons it's important to not overpay a guard. Hopefully this is just all posturing and a deal gets worked out, but I'm not optimistic as this point.
  16. It seems odd to me that the Saints would be the choice. I guess the production staff just wants a trip to New Orleans.
  17. See although he wraps and usually makes the tackle he just doesn't deliver that pop when he hits. What the hell do I know anyway, but he just has never impressed me as a physical player i think he will struggle in the NFL, but I've been wrong before.
  18. As a Notre Dame fan I've watched plenty of Jaylon Smith. To me he's a college player I don't think he will make the transition to the NFL well. As a coverage linebacker maybe, but as an edge rusher he reminds me too much of Aaron Maybin. He has no problem moving and getting to the ball, but never struck me as a great tackler or particularly physical.
  19. I agree, but the reason is if you happen to hit the one that succeeds the reward could be monstrous. Not saying it's a sound investment plan, just that's what keeps driving these leagues into existence.
  20. Why wouldn't he? Now that he has approval his focus is on getting LA to himself. By the end of all of this he might end up with the most valuable franchise in the NFL.
  21. I think Tyrod gets that he's in the process of earning that big payday. Despite a statistically good year he needs to prove he has the consistency and durability to make it as a QB.
  22. No before and an emphatic no after. Domino's couldn't pay me to eat their pizza.
