  1. you need to relax a bit and lay off the anti EJ rhetoric for a while. There are plenty of "guys" willing to collect a few million dollars to warm the bench. All the angst against a backup is unhealthy. IIRC EJ will have $12 - 16 Million dollars to sit on and keep that bench even warmer if he's extended. don't spoil their fantasy. Also looking at the stats I was surprised t see that EJ had more passing yards than the Red Rifle with one less drive. TOP 30-30 http://espn.go.com/nfl/matchup?gameId=400791627
  2. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000563609/article/whaley-bills-dont-regret-choosing-manuel-over-cassel Whaley on QB's On Thursday, Bills coach Rex Ryan told reporters that he would still trade linebacker Kiko Alonso for running back LeSean McCoy in "two seconds." On Friday, Buffalo general manager Doug Whaley showed equal faith in his decision to ship veteran passer Matt Cassel to the Cowboys in late September. "No, not at all," Whaley said, when asked if he regrets dumping Cassel. "When you look at it, coming out of camp, arguably you could say (Manuel) was the No. 2. So we had the luxury of being able to come back with Cassel at a reduced rate and have three quarterbacks. If you look at the league, maybe a little over half the league have three quarterbacks, so it's a luxury. And then when (safety) Aaron (Williams) went down, we needed a spot -- and then the Cowboys called." "I think that's debatable," Whaley said. "What we saw in the preseason, again, we felt comfortable with EJ being our two, and obviously we showed that by (moving) Cassel, but, again, that's something that you guys can debate. We believe that the level -- there was a battle ... we thought it was 2a and 2b."
  3. Go DUKES!!! My daughter graduated from JMU w/her bachelors a year ago and she got her masters in foreign language studying in Florence Italy, which she got in May
  4. can we blame TT? jk
  5. sure it does Sharknado!!
  6. They had a shot. Injuries hampered the efforts thus far. There are 10 more games to go to see the final result.
  7. From what I heard on the radio this AM & the 2016 draft - the QB prospects are not very intriguing. If you need a QB to draft this off season isn't one where you will land a medium to big name guy. Just a thought. Can we agree to wait until after the game to trash the backup QB?
  8. let me see if I summed this up for a select few here. Bills win - EJ sucked again Bills Lose - it's all EJ's fault
  9. If we can somehow win? Where's your team spirit? Go Bills!!
  10. Pats tweet about 'Butt Fumble' ahead of tilt vs. Jets, then delete it (by Rich Cimini)
  11. On M&M this AM they were indicating that Rex was rushing with 3 a lot and he had Mario in coverage on some plays. I could be wrong, but to me it appears that although the sacks and INT's are way down from last year, the overall stats seem to be on par.
  12. I will agree that this is a must win for the team to keep things on track for a winning season. I will think positive. Not sure about many others. No matter what happens, whatever goes wrong it is all EJ's fault! I am joking though with the EJ sentiments here, I would not doubt it.
  13. You want to see devastated, look at the Redskins roster this week. They are basically down to 3rd stringers (close enough). Good teams find a way to win w/o stars like Jordy Nelson or Gronk etc. update - Skins & Chargers list 15 players injured in some way. Houston lists 18. http://www.nfl.com/injuries
  14. Not for nothing but weren't the Bills 3-3 this time last year? Marrone failed the team. It's too early to say Rex has or hasn't.
  15. Did I hear the game announcers say something wrong on NFLN last night? The game will be on CBS or was that supposed to be ONLY for the local areas?
  16. Which has more yards - (either) offense or total penalty yards? All I have to say on the matter is the Bills played against an undefeated team, so I have to wonder do you credit a better Cincy team D or a lousy Bills team O?
  17. Why else would he throw the pass into the tent during practice sessions in camp!!!! PRACTICE!!!
  18. To whom it may concern - Do the remnants of the 2014 Raiders game still haunt you?
  19. what do they know football to them is a game where you don't use your hands and not to mention they fall over and cry when someone bumps into them
  20. for a short term fill in why not.
  21. Contemplating retirement with his hip injury that will sideline him ??? Is what I heard on NFLN right? google bot do your stuff http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25349313/report-bills-percy-harvin-considering-retirement-because-of-hip-injury tough choice. keep playing with the risk of further hip damage and walk in pain for years to come or retire now with relatively good health.
  22. Who wouldn't want 263 yards passing from their #2 guy which happens to be the 3rd highest output this season. (48 of them to Sammy) http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/schedule/_/name/buf/buffalo-bills
