  1. #2 is a concern. I have not, to the best of my recollection, seen an efficient 2 minute drill being run, either at the half or at the end of the game for whatever reason. What exactly is it? Coaching issues, communications issues, player execution???
  2. IMO the trading of Cassel was not a bad choice. Matt finally won a game against a <.500 team in DC on a fumble late in the game in the redzone. The game was so boring I was having a hard time staying awake.
  3. Coughlin has been hanging on to his job for years now and IMO it was Eli that has saved his job a number of times.
  4. To he honest, there are 2 or 3 other losses one can point to for the reason as well. Most recently KC (like the Raiders last season). We can point to the Giants game in Buffalo as the Giants have lost what 3 or 4 games with a 10 point lead late in the game. We can even point to the last game against NE where Leodis McFumbles again gave the game away. Yes, losing early has an impact but just look at KC, Indy, Houston. All of them have had bad starts and are playing strong. IMO losing late in the season can be devastating.
  5. The Bills need to win every game to stand a chance. And even then they won't make it if Pitt doesn't lose 1 or 2 games. The microsecond they think they don't need a win the season is over for sure. For all intents and purposes they are in the playoffs now. 1 loss = watching the playoffs from their couches. (2) Pittsburgh loses to Cincinnati and Denver The games are @ Cincy and Denver plays @ Pittsburgh with Osweiler
  6. Well you better be rooting very hard for the Bungles to win. And then win.
  7. I believe the actual stat is 29 times or fewer. Loss to NE game #1 he was 23 for 30, in W over Miami he was 21 for 29. 200 yard rushers in a Loss. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/blog/?p=4042 Going back to 1978, and not including 2009, a team has rushed for 200 or more yards on 1,110 occasions. 135 of those teams lost the game. So, the short answer is, about 12.2% of the time. http://iqfb.com/league-facts/rushing-for-200-yards-and-still-losing-the-game/ this is the game I remember 2002 – Ricky Williams – Miami Dolphins Ricky Williams carried the ball 27 times for 228 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
  8. I agree, they will probably not win 10 straight.. Maybe it is just sour grapes on my part.
  9. Laces out. That was a possible cause on the one missed FG on Sunday.
  10. I have no idea who's idea it was to be honest. Opinions may change with a WC spot. I think that Whaley has brought in some good young over the past few seasons. As I mentioned. I can say with certainty that not all players brought in by any GM can and will be successful. If he brings in 5 good players and one bad. Does the one bad spoil the bunch?
  11. 5 simple words conduct detrimental to the team
  12. I recall similar in years past. Then the Bills rush (individual over 100 or team for)130 or more they typically win.
  13. It is next season I'd like to see before biting a bullet. I've seen enough to say it is a good probability that he will get his deal, but I personally would be cautious.
  14. that is what I heard as well as of this morning 6:30AM ish but http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14321414/johnny-manziel-named-cleveland-browns-starting-qb-vs-49ers "Johnny will be our starting quarterback on Sunday," Browns coach Mike Pettine said in a statement released by the team
  15. Here is my rational for not doing it now. Getting into the playoffs = more $$$$ for Doug The team has been the best it has been in over a decade yet somehow people want him gone! ?
  16. Twits on Twitter feel the obsession to tweet.
  17. why would they bring this up now? I think Doug Whaley has done a decent job of bringing in good young talent. No one can be 100%
  18. She looks like a chubbier (face) Ann Coulter
  19. when has losing a coordinator ever seemed to hurt Belichick? Is it coaching or Eli? They will still be stuck with Eli and his contract.
  20. take a road trip into Buffalo or NF. You can have some wings with the beer you will cry in. I can't believe those games still hurt after all of this time.
