Yes, he's done very well when healthy, barring his 2 key fumbles. One at the 4 yard line going for a TD vs JAX and one against KC at the KC 31 yard line that ended a 6 play drive. If Shady needs to go to the edge to get yards that I am OK with it. Talk on the radio was that Chip wanted Shady to be more of a North South runner and that may be why he traded him.

The Texans, the Raiders and the Jets do matter. Expecting the Bills to win the next 4 games are high hopes. All of these teams in one way or another can surpass Buffalo in the rankings and all of these teams can help Buffalo reach the #5 seed. Rooting for the Ravens, Raiders and SD to defeat KC will help the Bills immensely getting the 6th seed, maybe even the 5th seed.

I was just thinking about that. If the offense sustains long drives, by default the defense is off of the field. As to allowing opponents to score more, ST's have been allowing opponents a short field numerous times.

From my perspective the Bills don't stand much of a chance to unseat KC. Either Houston or Indy will win their Div and the last WC as I see it would go to the Steelers or JETS. Unless KC really blows up the only teams to benefit from Buffalo losses are those two.

my bad When I see the term "spoilers", to me that usually means that a team out of the playoffs upsets one in the hunt and knocks them out.

If Buffalo defeats the Skins, the Eagles and the Cowboys who gets spoiled? Spoil those teams and the only team the Bills help would be the NY Giants. The last game that really could be a spoiler is against the NY Jets.
