  1. I was going to say maybe the Offensive Coordinator let down Daboll. But that isn't true, it turns out Daboll is doing the offensive play calling. So he can't blame their ills on anybody else.
  2. I didn't read all four pages, so forgive me if this is a dupe. Memories....
  3. Kamala just keeps digging herself into a hole. From my morning internet surf:
  4. With the plethora of streaming options, maybe the broadcast thread got overly complicated. It seems there are multiple viewing possibilities for each game.
  5. Do you have something against believing what you read? I read it. There is no shortage of that story line in the media. Here it is if you need a kick start: https://www.google.com/search?q=amari+cooper+drops Does one have to see action in person to believe a stat? If that was the standard for commenting, this fan board would be a very empty place. Besides, who watches Cleveland games?
  6. Harrison Mevis kicks the longest FG in SEC history to upset No. 15 Kansas State: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1513320806250278
  7. Cooper hasn't even played a down yet. I withhold judgment until Cooper plays. Will his drops from Cleveland continue, or will he be rejuvenated due to Josh Allen? Having said that, I forecast that Cooper is going to be very good.
  8. Conflict of interest? By the strict definition, yes. But it isn't against any law, it isn't against any NFL rule, it isn't against any Fox policy. So there you have it. It gets filed under "So What"
  9. As some wise poster has said before me, paraphrasing: "Joe Brady can't use the receivers he has, why try to add a prototype WR1" We don't have a receiver problem, we have a coordinator problem. We could trade for a WR1, but you're fixing a problem that we don't have, wasting capital.
  10. Bleacher Report: Nathaniel Hackett Removed as Jets Play-Caller After Saleh Exit; Todd Downing Promoted Bummer. I was looking forward to Hackett's ineptitude.
  11. You got me on that one. Misery isn't the horror genre per se, but I still find it troubling to watch. Christine is a great movie.
  12. The poll results are heavily skewed. There are scads of infrequent posters coming out of the woodwork to vote--the angry are motivated. Sheesh. We're 3-2 in a season where most of us expected to go 10-7 or 9-8. There are some over-reactive fans onboard.
  13. Misery starring James Caan and Kathy Bates. It was ice cold scary. It shows that scary can be done without special effects--just plain old acting. You don't want to get hobbled.
  14. I guess I am more patient and tolerant of the Bills missteps these last two games. In August, I mentally prepared myself for a 10-7 or 9-8 season, so the recent losses don't jar my emotions. All is proceeding as I expected.
  15. This appeared in my morning internet surfing. This kid got an appointment on the spot.
  16. Ugh. This place must be Hell to moderate after a loss. Infrequent posters show up and start new threads full of vitriol--recycling each other's threads. Often, the editorial content they provide is mush, just lots of emotion.
  17. I think Jimmy is a made up persona. Only a WNYer would bring up Jessica Pegula in a post.
  18. Sabres. No playoffs since 2011. At least when the Bills had a drought, there were flashes of competitiveness. But the Sabres are just bad. I don't think Lindy has it in him to raise the team a level.
  19. The difference between mediocre coaches and exceptional coaches... exceptional coaches excel at in-game adjustments. E.g. Belichik was the master at in-game adjustments. I believe doing in-game adjustments is a skill picked up from experience. Joe Brady will soon be good at in-game adjustments. Everything will be fine.
  20. I see getting a straight answer is difficult. I don't know about stadium watch parties. If I were to go to a watch party, I would try Chippewa Street: https://chippewablockparty.com/products/buffalo-bills-block-party-bills-vs-texans-sun-oct-6
  21. I always return the cart. Well, truthfully, I have guilt over the one time I didn't return the cart. I was at a Food Lion (an awful market) in Virginia Beach, they had zero carrels to return the cart to. There weren't even curbs to jut it on. So I left the cart just standing there. As I drove away, I saw a wind gust sail the cart right into a BMW. I have lived with that guilt for 20 years.
  22. Yeah, here is a good video reminder of Diggs disappearing in the playoffs. It hurts too watch.
  23. "In late fall, this committee will select three Seniors as Finalists" 3 of 60, I don't see Tasker making the final cut.
