From today's news. Erie County legislators push for public hearings for Bills stadium lease deal If there are "hearings" and related nonsense, the stadium is dead. Anything grubby WNY politicians get their hands on dies a slow agonizing death. I guarantee if there are hearings a vocal minority will dominate the dialogue and the stadium is dead. And if the stadium dies, we all know what happens next. But hey, we got one hell of a carousel. That is our national claim to fame.

I put up a cheesy poll and got deleted by moderators (one of whom is a documented grumpy old fart). This one gets a pass? Moderation on TSW is about equal as NFL officiating.

Scouting The Tennessee Titans (Week 6 2021)
boater replied to Dont Stop Billeiving's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nice write up. PhD thesis level in it's detail. You're the G. K. Chesterton of TSW, a compliment. The old narrative was the Bills haven't beaten anybody. The new narrative is KC is a bunch of nobodies--so the Bills still haven't beaten anybody. A win in TN would be sweet and would shut-up a lot of naysayers. -
I have repeated visions of Josh Allen rushing into the end zone and spinning the ball into the turf in celebration. Anyone have a link?

I was always a bit envious of those who could surf here from their office. My office network had tight policies and traffic was monitored. They monitored the address you went to, and there was a random screenshot program monitored by some schmoe GS-7. You could always tell when they screen-shot you, your monitor blinked. The good websites were blacklisted at the outbound firewall. I never dared try TBD or the TSW.

Me too. But he did two things over the summer: 1) the TE university, 2) that "hands coach" or whatever you want to call it. He went from having hands of stone, to hands of stick'em. Amazing transformation. Just goes to show you how a self-motivated player can change over an off-season.

He may not be the best QB in the league, but he's the best QB, without doubt, for the Buffalo Bills. Now stop the God comparisons, that's blasphemy. Please let us win a Lombardi before the Bills move out of town because the feckless politicians can't get a stadium deal done.

As they say in real war, when things really count: fix bayonets. God Bless America and the Buffalo Bills. -

Downtown or OP.. never mind. This is a very wrong time for that conversation. -

So.. Q for Moderators: Would you rather moderate a 1 PM game, or a night game? Seems a 1 PM game is easier, since most posters are half in the tank before a night game even starts. -

No. It's 1849. Get with the mil time. These 2020 starts are killing me. -
Conversely, I've seen situations where the players were fine, and the coaching was subpar. The entire Rex Ryan era comes to mind.

I'm quasi-interested in casinos. The intellectual challenge of playing odds is very interesting. But to be shallow: the cigarette smoke gets to me. There is literally a cloud in every casino I have visited. What is it with gamblers and smoking? Is it OCD?

I prefer Milano not play. Hamstrings can be a lingering injury if not handled right. Yeah. If Leslie Frazier doesn't get a Head Coaching gig soon, it will be a big letdown. Same with Daboll. -
report- Empire State Development downtown stadium proposal

And that day, my friend, will be when I lose a bit of enthusiasm for the Bills. I remember being a scruffy 20 year old scraping enough together to buy a ticket, park the car and tailgate. I went to Dickies Donuts down the road after. Life was the balls and you didn't have to be a 6-figure. -
So the dude wants to mow my lawn for only 1 Bitcoin, bargain for me?

Too bad Buffalo is an economic wasteland and there's about 4 of these people with higher incomes of which you speak. My roofer can't afford downtown, but he can afford OP. -

Additionally, Rockefeller was a tremendous racist and wanted UB in the suburbs to isolate it. He also oversaw a design of the Robert Moses Parkway that couldn't accommodate Greyhound buses, for the same reason. -

The team would gladly move downtown if NY contributed enough to make it cost neutral to staying in OP. I'll eat my shorts if Albany contributed the billion+ needed to make a downtown stadium feasible. We aren't the Yankees or the Mets. -

Okie dokey. If NY wants to dictate the location, then NY foots the majority of the stadium cost. It works no other way. The major financier gets their choice of location. I guarantee: The Bills are not financing a stadium in a location against their wishes. They want Orchard Park. I'm sure the Bills would accept a downtown stadium, as long as they aren't the wallet being pick-pocketed. -
Knox will garner 1 critical 3rd down conversion, and 1 TD. His other achievement will be soaking up attention from the KC secondary, allowing someone else to become open. PS: I have no problems with Matt Milano. But I have serious problems with his hamstring. If I met his hamstring in a bar, I'd give him a good solid punch. Liquid courage and all.
