  1. Josh Allen is the best at providing the opposite of Bulletin Board material for the next opponent. He is always full of compliments--whether they deserve it or not. From the Mark Gaughan article on the TBD news page: “I think they do a great job of switching the looks that they’re giving,” Allen said Wednesday. “Obviously, we know about Chris Jones. He’s a game-wrecker, one of the best, if not the best, interior D-linemen in the game right now. You pair that up with some of their DBs and linebackers, they’re flying all over the field. They’ve got guys that are really gap sound in the run game as well. We’re going to have our hands full. This is a very good unit we’re going to face.”’ Heh. You can't blow air up their arse any better than that.
  2. I'm glad the Dolphins won. I want them to win out and not get high draft position. Same with the Jets. If you get mid-first round picks, you get locked into mediocrity. Make it so.
  3. I remember the early years when Knox had the dropsies. Then one off-season he went to a "hands coach" and that turned him around.
  4. You have different vehicles for different stages in life. I've had economy cars, muscle cars, old man sedans, family minivans, a Grand Wagoneer, a nice F-150, a nifty FJ Cruiser... even one of those Saturn's with the plastic body panels. Today as an almost-senior bachelor I have a compact SUV: Mazda CX-5. AWD was a must-have. It also has a mature and proven engine, Traditional transmission (not that CVT sh--), no turbo, and was built in Japan. You should have seen the Toyota Corolla I drove in Guam. It was in sh-- condition but just would not die. Nice ride. They don't make them anymore. They last forever--you'll be passing that on as part of your estate.
  5. Twas an ugly win, but I'll take it. Not a bad performance when you factor in that both WR1 and WR3 were out.
  6. That describes the Bills from about 2000 to 2017. You get locked into a vicious cycle of mediocrity which is hard to break out of.
  7. Bills - 27 Colts - 17
  8. I remember seeing the local band Pauline and the Perils at the Continental. The 80s were good times.
  9. Towne Restaurant closed because the family was no longer interested in running it. Similarly, I wouldn't be surprised if no one wanted to step up and run Swannies. Owning a restaurant can be a real ball buster. We're running out of independent restaurants.
  10. I remember using floppy disks to route my Evaluation up the chain of command... in the 1990's.
  11. "Bills Fans Tear Down Goal Posts AGAIN After Winning 1990 AFC East Championship.. beating Miami 24 to 14" Frank Reich was the QB in place of Jim Kelly. Good times.
  12. The 6 OL produces nice blocking, then add Coleman's blocks to that. I like it.
  13. He gets the Fitzy Seal of Approval, that's a big freak'in deal. Now I know the kid is one to watch. He's going places.
  14. #1 seed.... he's dead, Jim.
  15. In 2013 I got to draft 1st overall in my fantasy league. I picked Aaron Rodgers--he was a normal guy who got me lots of points. Good times. My, how times have changed. He is now a nut case, and his points are rock bottom. How can a person change so much? I understand the loss of athleticism, but someone his age shouldn't be losing his marbles the way he has.
  16. I'm not puffing up my chest about the Red Zone D. It's good, but not exemplary. The Red Zone stops were more a product of Seattle self destructing than of Bills D dominance.
  17. This whole affair reminds me of this quote from the internets: "We live in a time where intelligent people are silenced so that stupid people won’t be offended.” I defend Tom Brady. I never thought I would utter those words.
  18. She was a cutie.
  19. I was not aware of this deal. Thanks for the post. I wonder why they require it to be ordered through the app.
  20. Wegmans has high quality sushi.
  21. Speaking of label clothing... I have this tip: Adidas has an official store on eBay and the prices are very good. https://www.ebay.com/str/adidas?_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l161211 I bought a $20 hoodie from there and really like it. It is steps above the quality you would get from Champion or Hanes.
  22. "Sal’s prediction: Bills 30, Seahawks 24." Pretty ballsy of Sal. I hope he's right. I foresee a closer game than that. That is my memory of visiting Seattle. The rain isn't just a cliche, it's real. If I lived there I would buy a bunch of Goretex waterproof apparel and give the middle finger to the rain, like I do with the snow here.
  23. The homeless problem there is bad and not improving. Aggressive panhandlers are a problem.
  24. I'm so old... How old are you? I went to Seattle for business about 1996. I did a presentation off a flipchart easel (way before PowerPoint) to a hostile audience. It was a nice place then. I understand it has gone downhill since.
  25. Now, you have gone and done it. Here we go....
