  1. I picked up the sense that he's willing to wheel and deal on the backup QB.
  2. There's always Matt Haack.
  3. lol "Jackrabbit Jenkins"
  4. Have you overlooked the supreme douche-nozzle, Tom Brady?
  5. Yep. Smith was a teletubby his first couple years, then he transformed into a beast. Also, not known to many, Smith became an astute student of game film. On his own time, he studied his upcoming opponents--then he shredded them. He wasn't great by accident. He earned it. Von Miller is on track to be the same.
  6. To my point, Overdorf is now consulted, whereas in the past he's run unsupervised. Today, Beane makes the call, Beane is the cap boss. I'll have to take your word that Overdorf has a great reputation. I have nothing to support nor deny such an assertion.
  7. Thankfully, gone are the days when the unimaginative Jim Overdorf was delegated the task of running the salary cap. Beane is much better at it. Whaley and other GM's just let Overdorf run the contracts show without supervision it seems.
  8. It goes 3 ways. There were more than one play in the Pittsburgh and Jacksonville games.
  9. Nice video, watching unbiased journalists gush over the Bills.
  10. I still think RB is a problem. I respect Singletary but he's not the man.
  11. Yep. They had the draft picks, but they didn't have their pick of coaches/GMs. It seems the hockey world has a dearth of coaches and GMs. There was zero on the market when the Sabres were hiring. But this is a Bills Board: Go JA17.. and whatever jersey number Von Miller gets.
  12. Except the part where NFC wins the Superbowl.
  13. Y'all have been lamenting Beane for not being splashy. Now he's splashy and you're 2nd guessing him? SMH.
  14. And you douche nozzles thought Beane was sleeping at the switch. How about the Von Miller signing? Is that splashy enough for ya?
  15. Wasn't the word on Tyrod: if it was a passing play, he didn't wear his mouth guard, if it was a running play he wore his mouth guard? My memory is vague on it.
  16. He was a health train wreck. He had a mid-season concussion and a late-season neck injury. We're better off without him.
  17. March In the Bering Sea. A 915 millibar low pressure system. Basically, a hurricane. The waves were 50 footers. When the ship was in the trough it was like being in a canyon of water. I'd tell you the wind speed, but the anemometers were torn away.
  18. There's a lot of shade being thrown at the former NFL Executive of the Year. And this is after a season most other fans would give their left nut for. Could you imagine the vitriol here if the Bills had a bad season. The fans have become spoiled.
  19. Still no QB2. There have been some changes in the market, anyone care to speculate who may be QB2?
  20. ..and your suggestion is? Salary cap constrained.
  21. Beane, former NFL Exec of the Year, is a Svengali of GMs. He let others blow their wads with splashy moves, while patiently waiting on the sideline to pickup the high-value scraps.
  22. Beane: not being splashy, but picking up the high value scraps. Just as many of us predicted. fixed it for you
  23. Don't forget Squirrel Nut Zippers.
  24. Beane, former NFL Executive of the Year, will scan the remnants and get the bargain candy.
  25. $40 mil for Cousin's...?? A middling QB. Man this QB market is totally whacked. I'm glad Beane had the foresight to lock up Allen when he did.
