  1. Yeah. But our secondary is officially 2nd rate. Process that.
  2. Stefon is 28 years old. Let's see if he puts up elite numbers this year. If so, award him an elite contract.
  3. Was it Overdorf or Littman the problem?
  4. What a classic.
  5. Whew... for those "pay the man his money" types on here. Thank God they don't run the Bills. 1) it's physically impossible to pay him what he's looking for, salary cap wise. I know many of you believe in salary caps sleight of hand. But it's just not enough in this situation. 2) even if you go nuclear and could squeeze him in under the cap, you would be gutting the money left for the rest of the team. As Jerry Jones said recently: great teams, even just good teams, lose great players to lower performing teams, it's how the NFL system is designed. Just ask Aaron Rodgers or Patrick Mahomes.. who lost their elite WR. I expect the same to happen to Josh Allen. I watched the great 1990s Bills fall apart under the salary cap. The losses of Thurman Thomas and Bruce Smith stung. But they were inevitable. Some pain is coming up here as well. EDIT: Read the Cowboys built for 2021 situation https://sports.yahoo.com/whats-next-for-the-dallas-cowboys-and-jerry-jones-a-painful-talent-drain-224708265.html. Similarly, the Bills are built for 2022. 2023 gonna suck.

  7. If the Bills had that kind of money laying around, I'd rather see it go to extending Stefon.
  8. Heh. Beane is signing lots of Dolphins today.
  9. Yes. More specifically, it shows the importance of good college scouting and good drafting.
  10. Speaking of speculating...you're speculating that Indy hasn't tried to swing a QB deal.
  11. In an effort to sincerely answer you, I tried to backtrack to the post in question and was unsuccessful. Sorry, my surfing skills aren't what they used to be. Point being.. the great 1990's Bills were eaten by growing contracts of all their superstars. While not quite the same level, I'm getting the same whiff today.
  12. Great. I remember the great 1990's team being eaten and ended by huge contracts to it's stars. I don't want to go through that 2.0
  13. Genious. https://www.loudersound.com/features/rocks-sonic-architect-16-rock-stars-and-engineers-on-the-genius-of-jimmy-page
  14. #1 rated defense, and you're going to fire the guy. Yeah, the thirteen seconds sucked. But firing Frazier is like throwing the baby out with the bath water.
  15. The Bills have a defense led by Von freaking Miller. They could keep us close in games with even the best. In those situations we only need a serviceable QB.
  16. RIP Mr. Clayton. 67, that's just too young to go. It makes you think.
  17. Philadelphia Flyers Hall of Fame Center, Bobby Clark is Type 1. He was diagnosed when he was 15.
  18. They're laughing all the way to the Draft Talent Bank.
  19. I just watched Beane's press conference. He said our job is to take their guy down and keep our guy standing. I like that. I'm not worried. We got Von freaking Miller.
  20. I picked up the sense that he's willing to wheel and deal on the backup QB.
  21. There's always Matt Haack.
  22. lol "Jackrabbit Jenkins"
  23. Have you overlooked the supreme douche-nozzle, Tom Brady?
  24. Yep. Smith was a teletubby his first couple years, then he transformed into a beast. Also, not known to many, Smith became an astute student of game film. On his own time, he studied his upcoming opponents--then he shredded them. He wasn't great by accident. He earned it. Von Miller is on track to be the same.
  25. To my point, Overdorf is now consulted, whereas in the past he's run unsupervised. Today, Beane makes the call, Beane is the cap boss. I'll have to take your word that Overdorf has a great reputation. I have nothing to support nor deny such an assertion.
