  1. I believe you are onto something. The 45 day delay is because they haven't hammered out a Community Benefits Agreement. Without a CBA, the stadium deal is DOA.
  2. One of my kids from SOCAL, the Mecca of Mexican food, salivates over the thought of Mighty Taco. There's something about their beef.
  3. What are the Bills salary cap implications of Howard signing with the Texans?
  4. Also, not much wiggle room to give Poyer a raise.
  5. So.. does signing this ostensibly high priced punter blow away any salary cap flexibility we had to offer Jordan Poyer?
  6. For some reason I can't put my finger on it, but I'm salty at being spurned by Brett Kern. It's like it's a personal insult. I know it's just business so I know I should man-up and accept it. But I'm not there yet. Anyone else feel the same?
  7. To twist the words of an old internet meme "Brett Kern just isn't that into Buffalo" So much for those who lobby to bring the local boy home. Looks like the local boy said screw you. F' him.
  8. I just ran an annuity calculator. If he was frugal with his NFL pay he could withdraw 5 figures a month for the rest of his life. Hardly a pauper.
  9. I'm not browsing all 45 pages of this thread, so my apologies if I repeat others... But that Olean Times Herald/Chuck Pollock piece https://www.oleantimesherald.com/sports/bills/araiza-scandal-reflects-badly-on-bills-hierarchy/article_db4362ab-9942-5f0c-8e6d-58ec4e57a544.html is just a cheap mafioso media hit job. I once really respected Chuck's work.
  10. The low-information fans, which are most, are saying that.
  11. With God's guidance.. Brett Kern will end up a Buffalo Bill. And Beane will again be noted as a Wizard.
  12. On a more serious note: be concerned with the failing Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) negotiations. If they screw that up, the new stadium is dead. And we all know where a dead stadium deal leads. PS: The CBA is disgusting. It's every special interest group under the sun trying to get their slice of the pork.
  13. Yeah. The Browns and Raiders, for example, could be landing spots for him. Maybe Haack was going to be cut no matter what the circumstance was with Araiza. Maybe the Bills thought they could do better than Hack with someone else's 53-roster cut. Haack, does after all, own the legacy of the 10 yard punt. Frankly, I'm shocked Indy signed him. Here the Bills sit with a chance at Tennessee's cut, Brett Kern. It's not all doom and gloom.
  14. Zack Moss (correct spelling), is cut material. Who would trade for him?
  15. From https://www.outkick.com/nfl-wife-rachel-bush-fires-off-more-tweets-at-bills-over-minkah-fitzpatrick-extension-news/ She deleted the most damning tweet: https://twitter.com/omiester/status/1537146939245985792
  16. I hate to jump in 38 pages in, but Araiza's fate was sealed with: I'm sure his mid-game tweet Friday didn't help his position with management.
  17. His wife, Rachel Bush (recommend Googling her) said it directly. Poyer's actions, hiring Drew Rosenhaus as his agent, affirm it.
  18. I'm sure Matt going rogue and releasing a statement during the middle of the Panthers game didn't help his position with management.
  19. You're kicking a bee hive with that post. The overconfident are aplenty on this board. They don't like dissenters. Yeah the backfield is weak. And, no, McDermott magic won't overcome that.
  20. The options on the market are ancient.
  21. No way. The front office isn't deep investigating a 6th round draft choice. They deep investigate potential 1st rounders, and that is it.
  22. In other breaking news... in a nod to beautiful San Diego, I just made an amazing Taco De Pescado in my air fryer. Accented by lots of Cilantro. Just trying to lightening things up in this depressing thread.
  23. Twitter is a cesspool of people. Only read The Stadium Wall.
  24. Yeah. We'll just ignore that Araiza phoned/texted her to get a test for STDs. We'll just ignore her age. We'll just Watson the whole situation.
  25. Great. Who will be the holder now? Some scrub hired off the street? Haack is looking like a big loss in hindsight.
